The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) defines child abuse as the physical, sexual or emotional mistreatment of a child. The CDC claims the majority of child abuse occurs within the home. There are four categories of child abuse: neglect, physical abuse, psychological/emotional abuse, and child sexual abuse.
At what age would you no longer call someone a child?
