Zeitgeist - Have you seen it? Do you know about it? What is it? Is it really important for your future and the future of all life on earth?

\V/ July 07, 2009 23:32:54

Zeitgeist
The word zeitgeist describes the intellectual, cultural, ethical and political climate, ambiance and morals of an era (similar to the English word "mainstream") or also a trend.
It is also a movement. I am part of that movement. You can watch the film online or you can request a copy from me if you write to at
angelman24@sprintmail.com
This poll is both for those that are familiar and unfamiliar with the film and its concepts.

The movement:
We intend to restore the fundamental necessities and environmental awareness of the species through the avocation of the most current understandings of who and what we truly are, coupled with how science, nature and technology (rather than religion, politics and money) hold the keys to our personal growth, not only as individual human beings, but as a civilization, both structurally and spiritually. The central insights of this awareness is the recognition of the Emergent and Symbiotic elements of natural law and how aligning with these understandings as the bedrock of our personal and social institutions, life on earth can and will flourish into a system which will continuously grow in a positive way, where negative social consequences, such as social stratification, war, biases, elitism and criminal activity will be constantly reduced and, idealistically, eventually become nonexistent within the spectrum of human behavior itself.

This possibility is, of course, very difficult for most humans to consider, for we have been conditioned by society to think that crime, corruption and dishonesty is "the way it is" and that there will always be people who want to abuse, hurt and take advantage of others. Religion is the largest promoter of this propaganda, for the "us and them" or "good and evil" mentality promotes this false assumption.

The reality is that we live in a society that produces Scarcity. The consequence of this scarcity is that human beings must behave in self preserving ways, even if it means they have to cheat and steal in order to get what they want. Our research has concluded that Scarcity is one of the most fundamental causes of aberrant human behavior, while also leading to complex forms of neurosis in other ways. A statistical look at drug addiction, crime and incarceration statistics, finds that poverty and unhealthy social conditions comprise the life experience of those who engage in such behavior.

Human beings are not good or bad... they are running, forever changing compositions of the life experience(s) that influences them. The "quality" of a human being ( if there was such a thing ) is directly related to the upbringing and thus belief systems they have been conditioned into.

This simple reality has been grossly overlooked and today people primitively think that competition, greed and corruption are "hardwired" elements of human behavior and, in turn, we must have prisons, police and hence a hierarchy of differential control in order for society to deal with these "tendencies". This is totally illogical and false.
Tfundamentally, you must begin to address root causes.
I believe there is artificial scarcity of energy resources.
War is a racket
Job loss due to automation, robotics.
Religion is a fraud.
All of the above and Zietgeist holds the answer to a better future for humanity.
You!

Zeitgeist is a propaganda flick filled with garbage and conspiracy theories.

I do like the word "zeitgeist". I like that there is a name for the spirit of time.

    Here is what I believe

Yes. Yes. It is a piece of work that contains a lot of truth, and also contains some information that I could not confirm by any other source, nor could I disprove.

Since propaganda typically contains a lot of truth in order to win the confidence of the reader/viewer, and then it makes baseless statements that it wants people to believe, I can only say that Zeitgeist could possibly be one of these. Or it may be true. I do not know. But much of it I do know to be the truth.

    Here is what I believe

Peter Joseph - the elite stoogey who puts his name and face to this Illuminati information/disinformation, is out to catch people for the New World Order. The majority of what he says is true - apart from the spiritual stuff of course which has been shot down in flames by many of the more awake, true history students! The Venus Project is a cover name for the Lucifer Project that the Illuminati elite oligarchy are planning for mankind with their covered cities and mind-controlled microchipped slave inhabitants - but of course they do not let you know too much about the whole deal now do they?? Beware of this Peter Joseph fraudster whose allegience is to the evil, Satanic New World Order!! Nasty man!!
The main aim of Zeitgeist is to make you believe that the Bible is false - that is the main reason so much other truth is told - so that the Bible can be trashed!
The elite hate the God of Creation and His Word with all their hearts, souls, minds and strength - I wonder why really?? Could it be that they know it to be the truth??

Oh yes, the Bible was written by God himself, therefore, it must be true!

Zeitgeist was made by men, so it must be false.

You Ed, are a disgusting idiot. Let people see it for themselves and make up their own minds.

A spiritual faith which had no name before Constantine was turned into a literal faith with the objective more to manipulate Roman society and more to sustain elitism then to spread"the word".

Emp Constantine was though the founder of Christianity as prior to his reign, there was no such word, but also not a single official imperial religion for the Roman Empire, with all its multitudes of cults and gods all across the Empire.

Constantine didnt convert to Christianity, but lifted the restrictions on Christians and the groups known as early Christians who were persecuted were neither Christian nor “peaceful” but actually satanic and human sacrifice cults such as the Sarmatians and Boethusians who were the descendents of the Phoenician traders. In about 325, Constantine ordered the arrest of all cult leaders of major cults and forced their attendance at Nicaea in order to form a new official religion who then assisted in creating the deity Hesus Christi (Jesus Christ) and thus Christianity was born over three hundred years after the death of Jesus!.Therefore the Bible is certainly more false than the Film made in the 21st century called Zeit Geist.

I love German words. They have so many good ones that we don't have in English. Take "Schadenfreude" for instance (taking pleasure in another's pain). Why don't we have a word for that? It's not a great thing exactly, but it is common enough that you think we at least would have given a name for it. Oh well. We just adopted theirs. lol. "Weltgeist" is another good one too.

Job loss due to automation, robotics.

To be honest I would really need to see it again. The thing that does worry me is how we are going to have most things animated if not all. Just to name two things.
ATM's and self checkout at the grocery store. Do you known how many lost their jobs as tellers and cashiers. Far too many but we like the convience of getting 24 hrs a day and checking out of the store quickly. We all had better wake up before it is too late.

    Linda... AKA Lucky Lindy
The funny thing is when the banks first introduced them (ATM's) they said it would save time and money and free up the tellers for other things so that the lengthy lines at the bank would be much reduced. If it saves them money....why are they now charging anywhere from $1 to $3 for people to use them?
We pay for T.V. supposedly so we could watch quality programming without commercial interruption....yet now....all the channels not only have commercials... they have whole hours dedicated to 'inframercials'! Which is simply a really long commercial that we're paying to watch! The greed and audacity of the media is simply amazing. And have you tried to buy a VCR lately? They're becoming obsolete. I believe it's not because DVD's are so much better...it's because advertisers don't want their commercials to continue to be so easily 'fast forwarded & skipped completely by most viewers. We've been trying to buy one since ours broke down....and no one sells them anymore! Life is changing in a way I don't think is positive for the average consumer. It's all about the corporate world making sure they have an 'ever increasing' profit margin. Soon....they'll be charging us for the very air we breathe!

And then we have cap and trade, taxes on sodas, fast foods, banning of transfats, to name just a few--all imposed by the government. Yes, we will be charged for the air we breath, probably controlled by GE and our government, and supported by the media. It goes much deeper than the corporate world. government.

I have seen this DVD ... and I must say that it really gave me
some things to think about. I attended The Church Of Christ Christian Church while growing up & I had questions even then that were never answered. I always was curious about everything & I still am.
Of course the DVD "Zeitgeist" raised more questions .. but
parts of it may have explained a lot that I have always wondered about.
I have never understood why it should be necessary to attend a church to worship God ... I thought that any place that you felt close to God was good.
I know for a fact that shortages of energy resources are artificially produced. I believe that war is a racket ... no one wins a war & the only ones who profit are the ones with a vested interest in the war.
And of course jobs are lost due to all the automation ... why
hire a person for something a computer or robot can do?
war profit vested war jobs lost automation hire person robot

In every Conspiracy theory there is a MINIMUM grain of truth, sometimes it is DEAD ON...

However, until all most of the facts and details are uncovered and brought to light it remains just that, a CONSPIRACY HYPOTHESIS... (after all Theory has facts backing it)...

Now I did Like the past correlations of the Jesus myth and the interesting hypothesis about the signs of the zodiac and the 12 apostles and jesus supposedly being "the sOn of god" and the sUn parallel... either way there is enough evidence all around to point to jesus definitely being a myth, at the very least his supposed divinity, if not the man all together...

The rest of it was entertaining but really the evidence presented was at the very least minor of not circumstantial...

They already are. Wachovia charges $3.00 if you use the teller window, and $6.00 if you come in the bank and use the teller. WTH are the tellers paid to do? Do they work on commission? It is interesting, that our Wal-Mart had self service lines for about a year, but then were taken out. They were popular, but the workers complained about them and low tech customers needing help anyway, so they were removed. I liked them, but then I'm a guy.
