ahahahahah The sock... I won't because I don't want to be labeled. I don't even know what I am. I am just ME. Sometimes that is liberal and sometimes that is conservative and sometimes that is apathetic... I don't like people looking on my profile and seeing some label and then thinking they know all about me. If a person wants to know what I am they can take the time to read my replies and make an assessment based on something other than a single word. I can not be and refused to be described by a single word. :-)

I believe SH is mostly conservative the way they harrass Obama here. This is why I stayed away it got stupid. I ask the goons to support their answers and they block me. A little maturity is too much for them and I'm sick of it! If you want facts go to website with .gov as the extention. It's moderatae and only factual.

The sitting president will also get a lot of criticism because he makes tough choices, and people like to criticize. They did it with Bush and Clinton as well.

I know that many people here don't like President Obama. Nationally, his approval numbers have dropped as well. When he did win the election, he had about 50% of the vote, and about 50,000,000 people voted against him.

You don't trust sites without .gov? I find it unusual that a Liberal would trust only the government. Not too long ago, Liberals distrusted the government.

I voted for the person not the party. If I believe in Obama I am now liberal. Simple. They may not be your terms, but they are mine.

Using the innocence of children to manipulate the mind? Typical conservative tactic. I see you are just like th rest of them, anti-government.

I don't oppose the government -- I just want to limit government.

I don't think people should depend on government (and gov't shouldn't try) to solve all our problems. The US Constitution enumerates a few responsibilities of government, particularly the federal government. America has achieved great success because of our freedoms, liberty and self-reliance.

yes. True, but without government, there would be anarchy. And with total control of the gov't by citizens there would be chaos. The gov't is supposed to keep things in order. Therefore, if there is a problem, they should address it. There are strength in numbers. But is it really strength without affective actioin?

You should also pay attention to the last words of Obama in this speech.

I put on my profile "progressive" but then I was accused by the right as being "eugenist". So I guess I am one of the proud, one of the few, liberals. Whereas this once was a decent place to have a spirited exchange of opinions, I now find that the hate from the right is driving me away. I think your numbers are far below where the conservatives are concerned.

I am certain, though, that if you put "obama haters" in a group you would get a huge response. Combined with the republicans and moderates your sock puppet numbers will grorw.

I don't hate conservatives. I am more independent and have voted republican in the 1980's. The extremists are making conservatives look bad. They seem to think that there needs to be NO government intervention which is wrong. if not, banks and insurance companies will just keep raping the rest of us and banking the profits.

In current vernacular I am liberal on most but not all issues. However, I have NEVER voted Party always person and their position (or at least stated position) on the issues.

SH certainly appears to have a higher percentage of self-identified "conservatives" than does the general population.

Labels can be deceptive and confining however I never sit on the fence. my profile has been marked conservative from the day I came here.
I lean deeply towards the conservative side, actually with the administration in place now more than I thought I ever would. I care deeply for social issues and speak for them when called for, however not at the expense of the countries liberties and freedoms, I am an American because my grandparents found freedom freedom to choose and freedom for the pursuit of happiness and success was here and braved great hardship to get here, I thank them everyday. never will I be a part of changing that.
