Canadian scientists are trying to breed cows that burp less. Cows account for up to 75% of methane emissions, which is partly responsible for global warming. Cow burps are 20 times more potent as a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. So, by breeding bovines that burp less, they would breeding more environmentally friendly cows.

Life on a normal day without any disruptions, (like an underwater earthquake that releases methane into the atmosphere)- and what about elephants? I hear they release quite a bit of methane into the atmosphere too.........- and so what's next? A breeding plan for any living entity that burps- ? ................
