China has preferences. Last I heard the One Child rule doesn't apply if your first child is a girl and you're allowed to try for a male. But if it's a second daughter you're forced to abort. It's been a while since I've read up on it though.

It's because of their birth control, their being over a billion Chinese in China, maybe even 1.5 billion. They limit it to one child a family there and they choose to have a male often for the family name.

BUT... the indigenous groups there, the way we have Native Americans here, do get a bit of a break and maybe be able to have 2 and maybe more, that's to research.

Chinese women are very beautiful too.

This is dangerous. What are these men going to do for a wife? There wont be enough women for men if they continue at this rate.

I'll bet my life there will be a correlation to an increase in mistreatment of women too. More rape, more prostitution, more sex slavery, more abuse.

Already happening in China. Girls are stolen and sold on the black market for potential wives. Prostitution is prevalent throughout China now. Families are falling apart. They have taking the worst of the west and it is destroying their social structure. Meanwhile, we spend millions of American taxpayers dollars studying the affect that alcohol has on Chinese prostitutes.

This is actually going to benefit women. They will have more men to choose from and they can be very choosy on the one that pick for their spouse. At least something good to come out of something so silly.

Well, in that situation, it's usually the men who get to decide who to marry..the woman don't really have much say.

Having more men than women would be a benefit to women in the USA, and a few other countries, but I can see it being a real problem for women in rural Vietnam and China.

You are a fool. Increase abortion on girls leads to abuse of girls and women. Only a true feminist would argue that aborting girls benefits that gender.

I NEVER agreed about aborting girls, I didn't write the post or put it into law about it being okay to pick a sex. I only commented about the possible results.
