We don't have any popups or popunders either. We try to keep all of our code within the site itself so that nothing extra has to download.

You should look into some spamware, firewalls, popup blockers, and virus protection just to make sure that your computer is protected against real sites that are trying to do damage.

I'm not shocked or anything, but rather pleased somewhat. JKRowling has some balls, that's for sure. I bet there's millions of parents that wouldn't have allowed their kids to read the books at all if she had outted Dumbledore prior to AFTER the books were all done. (more)

We always get so far into wanting to blame others for our responses, but no one can make us do anything. We choose it. Even at the point of "provoking" we still make that choice.

It's just a matter of accepting that choice!

I generally like to have someone around, because even if I did need alone time, I could just say so. But its good to have someone to talk to or bounce ideas around or even just be with, to remind you that there's life off of the computer. (more)

Being overweight myself, I understand the depression when you compare yourself to others or to what you used to be. But I often remind myself that I haven't changed and that I'm still a like-able human, and that that helps keep me going.

Just hang in there and keep on your treatments. Things will feel more normal and it won't seem so bad. *hugs*

There are many benefits that some religions break on a social level, including social congregation and the feeling of belonging to a social group, which invokes many great things (there's power in numbers).

Sure, there are people who are fighting, and will always fight. But there are some people who fight over children, colors, tvshows, etc. Religion wars are merely a cover to allow hatred to seed in hearts. Just as fighting over any other smaller issue is similar.

I think the key is education. Educate people to be more tolerant, educate people to be nicer, etc. Those people who are in religious wars (i.e. India, Africa, Israel) are being taught at YOUNG ages that this behavior is okay. We need to take the same approach on the opposite message, and it should help some.
