Were there more qualified Democrats than Obama who the party could have nominated four years ago? And if so, how did Obama emerge as their nominee?
I'm gonna be politically incorrect and just blurt it out -- because he's black. If he were white, he wouldn't have even been one of the Dems' top 5. Sorry. But it's true.
It's all about image, hype, and rhetoric. Obama had more of those things than the other Dems did. Even if some of them actually had more ability and experience.

America is headed for its highest poverty rates in over 40 years. (Some "hope and change," huh?) Does anyone STILL want to say that Obama deserves to be re-elected?
With "Hope and Change" like that, maybe we're better off with Despair and Complacency.

The Aurora killer had been buying weapons & ammo over the last 60 days. Limbaugh's bit about the movie alluding to Romney was only 4 days ago. So, lefties, can we please stop blaming Rush for this now?
No. I'm a chronologically-challenged liberal. Even though this guy started arming himself to the teeth well before Rush's broadcast, I'm gonna blame Rush anyway.
Many lefties, of course, exploit tragedies like this for political gain. Maybe this time, though, they'll knock it off.
