My Heroes and Friends.

I love little baby ducks, old pickup trucks, slow-moving trains and rain.......ok I might have heard that somewhere.

I am the consummate dilettante. I am interested in many things. I have raw talent in a variety of areas but use few to the fullest extent. I write, I sing, I have played musical instruments in the past. I have sewed, I have crocheted. I have dabbled in herbal medicine. I have so many projects in the works I could go 10 years without finishing them all.

I am interested in politics. I am unabashedly conservative. I make no pretenses of being moderate. If I didn't think the right was right I wouldn't be on the right.

I am the benefactress of many cats, both at home and on my boyfriend's farm. I use natural remedies to treat as many as I can because I can't afford veterinarian care for all of them.

I have quirky hobbies - I write song parodies, among other things.

I grew up in a city but do not plan to live in one again.

I'm not interested in fly fishing or most other sports. I'm not interested in hearing the details of anybody's pregnancy or childbirth stories, particularly not over lunch or in line for potluck. I'm not interested in how I can drive greener, exercise greener, cook greener, do my taxes greener. I'm not interested in infomercials for male enhancement supplements.

I have eclectic tastes, but country is my favorite of all kinds of music.

I like bluegrass. I mention this because I realize tonight my mom doesn't even know that and I thought it was pretty basic info about me. Not that I like it exclusively, of course. I actually don't listen to it all the time. I just thought it was funny that she didn't know that.

I don't watch a lot of movies. When I do they are TV movies and classic movies on TV. I haven't been to the movies in a couple years.
