Will Kobe play for lakers in 2007?

There has been more talk about a possible trade. Some are saying "it isn't going to happen" while others say "it will happen but not anytime soon." It's pretty confusing.

"It’s not happening today, probably. It might not happen for a few weeks or months. Maybe. He’ll suit up for the Lakers, for a little while longer. I’d guess.

But it’s definitely happening at some point. If there is any sense to be made out of all the freaky nonsense pouring out of Lakerland right now, it’s this:

Kobe Bryant will be traded by the February deadline, and probably a lot sooner than that."

    He will definitely be traded before the season.

    If you watch him play...he has already left the team...he's out there only for KOBE..........worse they kept Kobe over Shackman

    I can't imagine after the way he has acted, not to mention the fact that he should be in prison for sexual crimes, that anyone would give a damn other than lakers fans.

    I don't know but I think Kobe is totally frustrated with not winning. He scores enough for 4 or 5 more players in a lot of the games, but it's called a basketball team, and he can't win the games all by himself even if he can score 81 points. The powers that be need to get him some powerhouse players to help him out a little. Kobe knows that he's good but he believes in practicing no matter what, and some of the past Lakers didn't. Kurt Rambis could get them to practice, but Phil Jackson, they didn't listen to him all of the time even if it looked like they did, he would tell them to practice, but if they wanted to, they did, if they didn't want to, they didn't. That was one of the reasons that Kobe had a lot of problems with some of his team mates, he is about winning and being in shape for the next day and they would get off the bus, and look for the clubs. They were too self confident because they knew they were the Lakers and they were good. Practice and rest is what those players need when they want to win games not to be looking tired and ridiculous on the floor the next day and you have this one man hustling amd making 3 pointers all over the place, he's would really be playing against himself, breaking his own records, he proved he could break almost everyone else's. Isn't there just one players record he hasn't broken yet? Bill Russell or Wilt Chamberlain? Oh well if he decides again he wants to be traded, the next time it will be for keeps, it's probably coming soon.....SMH

    I'll follow him where he goes as long as he doesn't end up in the same situation, with anothe loser team if he goes to another team that has just 3 or 4 half as good as he is, there's hope....SMH

    I don't think this will happen till after the season. Kobe wants to get out of LA but it will be a while before it happens.

    I heard the team talk about Kobe Bryant's status and they seemed very sketchy about keeping him. This comes up often Kobe ends up playing in the purple and gold for LA, but this time I think the Lakers will need trade him.
