I don't think neophyte BB watchers understand the mastery of the purposeful foul and the NEED to get the ENTIRE team above a 65% free throw rate.

I saw the rate on some of those players for Memphis and thought the coach needs to do some more drill time. AND those players need to be spending about 4 hours A DAY during the summer standing on the line and at the three-point semi if they want to "shout and cut net" in the future.

That's my favorite women's college team (oh, and by the way, my LA Sparks drafted Candace Parker and Shannon Bobbitt and of course they will be playing with former Vol Sydney Spencer). Pat Summitt does'nt get the credit she deserves. They kinda drifted over her winning her 8th championship like it wasn't a big deal. SHE'S SECOND ONLY TO JOHN FREAKIN' WOODEN FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!!!

yeah thats women basketball for ya. it just gets overlooked all around. hate to say it but even by me. my city doesnt have a wnba team or a good wncaa team. so i dont get into it as much. but its not all womens sport. i like womens tennis more then i do men. and its not because of the short skirts.
