Oh that is such bullshit! As a kid, to me it was never a punishment to be sent to my room. Gee...all my books were there, all my toys were there. This is the adult equivalent of being sent to your room!

im assuming some of you want the man to have a life sentence for his role in the operation. yes he commited a crime and yes he should serve his time, but he was made an example of by the judicial system u call crooked. the other people involved in the dogfighting operation have either been released or didnt even have to serve time because they pleaded and got probation. so yes its fair. people werent crying when robert downey jr got arrested 6 times before finally spending a short time in prison. so stop crying now.

Robert Downey Jr. never intentionally tortured another creature for a buck. Vick knew what was going on on HIS PROPERTY and he thought he was above the law. They needed to make an example of him. I don't care if he serves the rest of his term on house arrest, but don't play down the crime. Maybe someone should put him in a pit with a vicious dog and see how he likes it.

They should ALL be executed.

He should be in a prison cell. If he hadn't been a psuedo-famous football player, just a regular guy, he would be in prison. Tired of this different set of rules for the wealthy/celebrities.

O.J. Simpson kills a White woman and White man and doesn't go to jail. Kobe rapes a White woman and doesn't go to jail. But Michael Vick, he kills a few dogs and goes to prison. What a crazy world we live in. :)

Vick did not 'just' fight dogs- he and his disgusting friends beat and electrocuted the losing dogs to death. He is a monster who should not be allowed loose in civilized society.
