Michael Vick home confinement. Enough of a punishment?

Michael Vick will be released from the fed prision and will be able to serve out the rest of his sentence in his five-bedroom home with his fiance and two children. He'll also be working 40 hours a week at a construction company, making ten dollars an hour when his home confinement sentence ends on July 20, 2009. Do you think Michael Vick has been punished enough?

He's done his time and has paid plenty of money for it. If he wasnt who he his, we would not have even heard much about it. Many people have been caught doing this and little has been done to them. All should be treated the same, regardless of who you are or how much money you have. He should be allowed to go redeem his life like the rest, with no more said about it.....

His only crime was being a rich, black man in America. This is the most racist country in the universe. If this would have happened in Europe he would've been fined and told to not fight dogs anymore. They would not have put him under the jail like a cold hearted criminal. His civil rights was violated, because of the color of his skin. He needs to sue.

Come on now!!!!!!!! Aren't we the very people that said he should be prosecuted according to the law. He was -he served. Let him move forward with his life. We can't have it both ways. And besides who are we to judge. Nope, and I've never fought dogs.

never he sentences god no's how many animals to death, if it were people he killed he'd get the chair, but for killing dogs he gets this? its not enough, his ass she stay in jail till he's near dust

Being in a nice house with his family doesn't sound like a punishment to me. How about this for a punishment: have all the surviving dogs attack him until he suffers like they did.

I have always been confused by this sentence. I own a cat and a dog, and they have the world by the butt. They are spoiled rotten and I love them. However, Vick fought dogs... dogs mind you. You know the four legged lovable animals, yet he got more time than the average child molester or rapist? How does that work?

We took a tax-payer (and Lord knows we need more of these right now!) and made him a prisoner because of d o g s? Yet one can abuse a child, molest a child, hurt a child and get probation? You can rape a woman and get probation? God help you if you fight dogs in the USA though, you are going to the big house.

I'll never understand it. They're dogs for goodness sake! DOGS!

Is probably the next step into getting him back into society.We can debate if he got enough time but he has done what they told him and is eligiable for this release.I do not know what others get for this type of crime but I think he was treated fairily!There can hardly be a disagreement that he lost a lot!The public will never let him get anywhere near the money he lost!So while I think he is a turd.I do not see where keeping in prison much longer is a benifit to society or going to help his rehabilhatation process.I hope he fails at comeing back into the NFL but do not believe he should be punished for the rest of his life without being given a 2nd chance in life.

They should have left his a$$ in prison, but I guess making $10.00 an hour as a construction worker is a pretty sound trade-off.
