5 Reasons Why the Phillies Will Pull Off a Comeback

- While the Yankees have to be considered a fairly heavy favorite with only one win needed as they head back to the Bronx, the Phillies still have some characteristically serious fight in them. Until last rites are read to the Phillies, they should be assumed to have plenty of life. The odds are against them, but this resilient bunch can never be counted out. Here are some reasons this World Series is far from over...

1. The Phillies aren't called the Fightin' Phils for no reason.
2. They are road warriors, going 48-33 on the road this year.
3. Chase Utley is currently unstoppable.
4. The vaunted, balanced Yankees lineup isn't all that balanced right now.

    1) It's just a name. It's not like they are ACTUALLY going to beat the other team up to win the Series.
    2) And the Yankees had over 100 wins!!!
    3)He must be somewhat "stoppable." Because the Yanks are up 3-2 in Da Series.
    4)Those who slack, others step up to the plate!!! That's why it's a "TEAM."!!!

    Well, I am sorry for those who wanted the Phillies to pull off a comeback. If the shoe is on the Yankees side, I would have felt the same way. Yet for 2009, the New York Yankees have won their 27th World Series Championships. Congratulations to the NY Yankees team and club! The Phillies were a worthy opponent and I tipped my hat to their competitiveness. It wouldn't be the same without the Phillies in this World Series. Thank you for the games and to the Phillies fans, good games and good luck next year!

    I am a Yankee Fan and happy that they won the World Series 2009 but I love Charlie Manual. He is a wonderful, decent person. I felt really bad for him.

    Both teams were tops !

    I'm a life-time Cubbies fan (Bears, too) who is so excited about the new owner and his family!!!

    BUT...if they don't make it to the World Series, I will ALWAYS back the National League...even though we haven't won very many times :( ...it's all about unconditional love and loyalty!
