About Me

I live in Queensland, Australia. Apparently its “Beautiful One Day, Perfect The Next”; where I live it is freezing one day, hot as hell the next.

I live in good old Toowomba, a big city full of small minded people.

I like to listen to awfully depressing music, and drive too fast.

I can be serious. I prefer to be a sarcastic smartass.

I am a pantheist, though I like to study many different paths. Religion fascinates me, but it is the philosophy behind religion that intrigues me. Why early man created the concept of religion, how religion have developed and evolved over time, the differences and similarities in religions across the world, why some of us still believe in an higher power today in the 21st Century.

I believe in personal responsibility. I do not blame the ills of society and my own shortcomings on an imaginary bogey man.

I believe that only people who have nothing intelligent to contribute resort to cheap insults. I would rather be judged on who I am, than what I am. If you judge me because of my gender, hair colour or religion, then you are a shallow person and that is your issue, not mine.

I was actually fortunate enough to be given an ex-racehorse. He had been starved and beaten and close to death when they brought him to my parents farm. He could barely stand. But he survived and was the most beautiful natured horse I've ever owned.

Horse racing is not a "sport" that I support.

As a general rule of thumb, practising Jews do not write the name God because of the laws delivered by Moses which are found in Deuteronomy 12:3-12:4. In this passage, the Jews are instructed to destroy anything and everything associated with their rival’s gods, and they are not to let this happen to their own God. Writing G-d instead of God is one way to prevent others from destroying the name of God.
