I also have never seen a marijuana user go into a rage and hurt or kill someone, unlike alcohol users.
Budget wise, the police and prisons would be unburdened. We could tax and sell it like cigarettes or food/herb products. But also, once legal, anyone should be able to grow their own for home use. This effectively eliminates contact with drug dealers, another positive about legalization.
