About Me
I'm recovering from a motorcycle accident that shattered my spine, requiring spinal fusion surgeries. I'm walking again without the use of a cane-- The next step of kicking the painkiller addiction was done for me, as a result of being homeless... my pain pills were stolen from me, so I'm having to do WITHOUT pain pills... which is REALLY fun at times.
I'm one of the SANE conservatives here on Sodahead; one who truly believes that the Constitution should limit the Federal government; one who believes that the Federal Government should be significantly smaller in size and scope, able to be run on significantly less tax dollars.
I also believe that our military should be defending our own soil, rather than playing globalcop and being the enforcers for transnational business interests.
I believe that ALL foreign aid should be stopped immediately. with the SOLE exception of temporary assistance in the event of a large-scale catastrophe. We should not be sending a PENNY to nations that do quite well without our support-- like Israel and Saudi Arabia, just to name a couple.
Since our infrastructure is crumbling, it makes far more sense for those dollars to be used HERE, rather than adding to another Saudi palace.

Walking my dog and throwing her ball to her-- taking her to Dog Beach or Fiesta Island, letting her chase the ball and romp around....

Politics, playing with my dog, swimming, reading and every so often catching an episode of TV that I had previously missed.

Fascinating, finding a sensible conservative is about as easy as finding a baked ham at a Bar Mitzvah. I 'market' myself as an eccentric, or with my Sufi friends, 'majnun' (lit. possessed by genies, where the word 'genius' came from). Looks like we got similar tastes in quotes.

I want to thank you for the rave on the blog post. I get so tired or people using a template and applying it to all people (Muslims in particular in this instance). We are all human beings and I get tired of these people who make foul comments on here hiding behind these avatars. It's something to be expected of children and you adults but this is a grown man who made this comment.

Very interesting. We share the same political views. After living for 20 years in 'The Peoples Republic of Tucson,' I had to relocate my family because of all the illegals, gangs, dope, crime, etc. La Raza was taking over the infrastructure of the city, and their 'Ethnic Studies' programs are ruining the schools. No place to raise my 7 year-old son. 5 of my friends were murdered execution-style in a bar hold-up back in 1996. We now live in rural Arkansas, where my wife, (der Frau) teaches school, and we still salute the flag, sing the National Anthem, and start each school day with a short prayer of thanks. Oh, and the principal still has a paddle in his office that he's not afraid to use if the occasion arises. -- Yer pal, Ferrari Bubba
