Life is hard, God is good and Heaven is real!

I am a former long-time Democrat and union member. I left the Democratic Party in June 2008 because of Barack Obama and the policies that I felt he would implement. He has implemented all of them in such a short time that I am afraid for our great nation. The Democratic Party left me a long time when it became infiltrated by socialists. I used to love my union, but they really did a number on me so I am now very anti-union and think they should be done away with. I have a faithful canine companion, Max, a 16 year old long-haired Chihuahua that means the world to me.

Favorite Heroes

My mother who raised six children (one deceased) mostly alone. My ex-daughter in law, now a very close friend, for the devotion she has for my grandchildren. The policemen who put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe. The brave men and women, (past present and future) who sacrifice so much to protect our freedoms. Their families are also my heroes because they sacrifice so much while their loved ones are serving our great nation.
