Hey... we all have to die sometime. My faith is in Jesus Christ. Death is not the end of my life but a transformation into the spirit world. (Which I hear is pretty sweet!)

It'd be an easier question to answer if I had a definitive faith. I sometimes envy others' certainty regardless of their faith. A better - no, sorry make that more relevant question for me: Would I claim just any faith to save my life? For some, no.

Nope. I'm Messianic (practicing Jew who knows Jesus is the Messiah) I actually received an injury and more. Because my ancestors were Jewish and died during the Holocaust and the other generations before them were murdered. The other part of my family lived in Japan as Missionaries. One of the assailants actually called my house and said to say "Say your German". My faith teaches that we should speak out against oppression, tyranny, and crime. That the one should speak out on behalf of the many and the many should speak out on behalf of the one. Love the Lord thy God and Love thy Neighbor. Thank God for Jesus.

I would tell anybody what they want to hear if my life was on the line. It doesn't matter how I feel, I would just have to appease them to get out of that situation.

I'm an atheist so...no I will keep my "lack" of faith and give up my life. I would never want to be untrue to myself or my beliefs, and I might as well be dead if I were to betray myself in such a way!

I don't really know if faith is something you can just "give up"... I think faith just comes naturally to people... whatever their faith may be in. So the only way I know how to answer this is to say... I would give anything to save my kids lives.... my life holds very little meaning without them... so I would try my best to save my own life... for their sakes... if that meant telling a gunman that I don't believe in god or anything of that nature... then yes indeedy... I would tell them exactly what they wanted to hear.
