Hi Crusader.
If you don't beleive that any gods are real, then this question doesn't really make sense. You don't believe in Islam or Hinduism, so you can relate to what I'm saying. What the Koran and the Upanishads are to you, so the Bible is to non-Christians.
"Man" in the plural is lots of things. Self-serving, self-deceiving, and self-worshipping. But also dedicated to helping others, dedicated to learning and truth, and dedicated to humility. We all have the power to pick which attributes we will attempt to persue and personify. No?
Question Religion
To Non-Believers and Believers (In Christ)... Why does one trust in man's word instead of the word of God (God of the Bible)?

Man has proven throughout history to be self-serving, self-deceiving and self-worshiping.

The three s's you keep referring to have benefited the furthering of our species in ways that seem to be overlooked. We would know little about the Universe on which we exist without them, for example. Lastly, they are hardly all that make up humanity.
Besides, self deceiving seems to perfectly describe religiosity IMO.
It is normal because the nature of man.
Man cringes at the very thought of a God in this universe.
If man doesn't like to answer to man what makes you think man wants to answer to God.
So man with all of man's intelligence, power and knowledge will do anything to refute the existence of a superior being and man will dupe man to think that man could be equals with God.
Sorry no something has done this. It is by God written by God. It was written and it was done.
My testimony is proof. Not to you because it is man's nature to suppress what is is true. It is man's nature to not believe what will condemn him and expose his ill deeds.
What was illogical Spock?
"My testimony is proof" proof of what?
"Whenever you decide to really seek truth you might find that man is for and always been for man."
I figured that out a long time ago and by the way what else would man be for?
Q1
"My testimony is proof" proof of what?
Proof that He exists.
Q2
Yes of course, man is not for God.
My testimony satisfies a definition of verifiable evidence.
It's in the dictionary.
verifiable - capable of being tested (verified or falsified) by experiment or observation
"For not the hearers of the Word are justified, but the doers of the Word are justified."
"For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."
and I don't blame god, becuase I don't belive in him.
and "god" is really really bigoted then
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
The scripture you quoted has nothing to do with the question you answered.
There are also, sadly, many believers in censorship, which is why I post on your comment, and cannot do so on the post from Smiling Hank above.
