Milwaukee Pfister Hotel Haunted: Have you ever seen a ghost?

Mr. T May 28, 2009 18:59:09

According to MLB players, the Pfister Hotel is haunted with ghosts from the founder, Charles Pfister. These baseball players-- whom are supposed to manly men-- are scared by little ghosts? The Pfister Hotel is a common place for MLB and NBA players to stay when in Milwaukee. The hotel is over 100 years old, so it's squeaky and it creaks. But ghosts? I don't know about that.
What! The Pfister hotel is haunted with ghosts!? I've seen a ghost before!
Nope. I've never seen a ghost, like at the Pfister hotel. But I believe in em!
I don't believe in no stinkin' ghosts at the Pfister hotel. Grow up.

What! The Pfister hotel is haunted with ghosts!? I've seen a ghost before!

My parents owned a home in Montana (thankfully it was a rental) that was definitely haunted!

When we started remodeling this house, not only did we see things, but also heard things. Water upstairs would turn on full blast in the bathroom sink, a blue light (orb) would appear on a wall where there was no light source, etc. If you put your hand over the light, the blue light would still be shining under your hand. We heard something being drug across the floor upstairs. Things were thrown from the upstairs even though no one was up there!

Years later we found the previous owner died in the house and wasn't found for a long time. He drug around an oxygen tank and was pretty much "stuck" upstairs.

The last renter (while my parents owned it) jumped out the second story window killing himself.. I always wondered what made him do that.....

We were glad when they sold it (at a HUGE loss). The house is still standing. Last year I went "home", drove past it and took photos. They didn't turn out, even though the ones before and after did!

The house is really great looking - built in 1905. I was the one who talked my Parents into buying it. But, knowing what I do, you couldn't PAY me to move into it!

Strange sh*t happened at my parents old house when I was a teenager. Saw some people - looked away and when I looked back they were gone, heard some strange noises, had a few things fly off shelves when I walked by.

But I never saw a ghost like on TV.

Well! I am not a child anymore..but ever since I was a little girl I have been scared of ghosts. I have in the past claimed to have seen a ghost "based on a dream I had" and converted it into a ghost story. I have never seen one. I first moved to Florida in 2001. I bought a used mobile home to save money and buy a house. After moving in Everytime I was by myself in the house and stood by the front window to look outside I felt like I couldn't breath. I asked my friend to stand by the window to see if he felt the same and he did not feel anything at all. I went to the doctors to see if I was sick and the exam did not turn into any abnormal condition whatsoever.I kept on feeling out of breath when I got close to my front window. so I thought it was me. In 2006 my mother passed away at the hospital due to complications with emphyzema and althzeimers in Rhode Island. She used to ask all of us 'her children' to bring lots of flowers and roses for her when she dies. We did. We had her body sorrounded with roses on the day of her burial. The funeral home was sorrounded by the smell of roses as well. My father passed away in a veterans hospital in Florida due to a heart attack after a bypass surgery. I was devastated with my losses. Mom lived in RI with me before she passed away. and ...

Mom lived in RI with me before she passed away. and I moved to Florida because my dad lived here. One night I fell asleep crying thinking about mom.I dreamt with her..and in the morning when I woke up The room was filled with the smell of Roses. I went outside to see if the smell came from outside, but the smell of roses was not present outside of my home. I asked my neighbor who was outside at the time to tell me if he smelled anything outside and he said 'no'. I asked him to come in my house and tell me if he smell anything and after he did he said..yes "I smell roses". That night while watching TV I had the feeling that somebody was watching me and when I looked at my window I saw my father's eyes and shadow of his face looking at me and smiling. I looked away and when I looked again it was gone. The light was on outside and I could see through my security camera that there was no one there. a few minutes later I kept watching TV and I turned to my window again and saw him again, there Staring at me smiling. I got up and walked towards the window and the shadow dissapeared. I was awake! When dad passed away I brought his body to RI to get buried with mom. At the cemetery during the burial after the veterans ceremony the flag they folded was given to my little brother. I thought 'I would of love to have that flag to keep in his memory. About 2 weeks after I returned home to Florida a Folded flag was delivered to me in my fathers' honor.. I could not believe it! I have no family in Fl. and I thought my little brother had sent it to me. but when I called him he said he still had the flag that was given to him at the cemetery. after that I put an entertainment center in front of the window, I pray before I go to sleep and I have not had any more sights of my father or the smell of my mother in my room. I went to the doctors and now I suffer from asthma..could that be what I was feeling" who knows?..do ghosts exist? I believe they do,..When I was little I was taught by my parents that if I ever see or feel a ghost around me to pray and ask God to put that soul to rest and that is what I do each night before I go to bed. I am not scared of ghosts any more.

The selections here are very limited.

Seen a ghost? No, I have not. Felt the presence? Yes, on a number of occasions.

Which some people claim is inconsistent with my atheist beliefs, but what the hey, I don't write the rules!

I have only seen a piece of ??? that was 12X18 and was like a mist but as soon as I and our daughter saw it , it gently swooshed away. I do believe in ghosts and we wondered who was there visiting us. Not everyone sees them and they are not everywhere.

How about giving us a "None of the above" option. Your choices are not always relevant to the response, which I would like to associate my formulation with. (Whew!) It's a yes or no question. I can't seem to remove it from my "Happenings" unless I answer.

Was at a motel in Dayton, Ohio right across from a pfister hotel haunted ghosts ive ghost motel dayton ohio college campus, and felt a very evil ghost in the room with my husband and I that night. The ghost was had my arm and was trying to pull me out of bed, I was up at the crack of dawn and packed the car before my husband woke up. I didn't tell him about it till we were on our way home the following day and he said he wondered how he got the long scratch across his chest he noticed while shaving, both he and I said there was no way that I could of done it. Taking a "ghost" adult education class, was told many ghosts are energy.........let me tell you at that motel across from the college campus........there had to be much energy no doubt! But the one with us was evil, I could just feel it and don't doubt it for a minute!

no, but i stayed for five nights in a house on nantucket island that i knew was haunted the moment i walked through the door. the kitchen was suffused with a yellow-gray haze that looked like a spectral scrim stretched over the tangible realities of kitchen chairs, dish drainer and cabinets. my friend was staying elsewhere but had agreed to accompany me into the house, since it was nighttime and i was scared. i looked at him and said, "this place is HAUNTED as shit; can't you feel it?" he pooh-poohed my fears, saying, "oh, it is NOT! you're just being silly!"

silly or not, i made him follow me through the entire house as i turned on the lights in every single room, then the radio and the television, none of which i turned off for the entire five days i was there. before he left for the night, i said, "hey, ghosts! i know you're here and i'm sorry to intrude upon you and have no wish to disturb you, but please please please don't do anything to scare me! i fear you, i respect you, i defer to you, so please just let me go about my business and i'll do the same, okay?" then my friend left, and i got into bed with all the lights on and went to sleep. this was that creepy sunday on which princess diana had been killed in the car crash, so for the next five days i was watc...

the last night i had to stay there, i thanked the ghosts for not bothering me, but i still kept the lights and television on when i went to bed. when i woke the next morning, i went down to the living room and saw that the television had been turned off sometime during the night. i sure didn't do it, and there was no one else in that house but me. when i turned it on, it was on a completely different channel. i laughed then and knew that the ghosts just wanted me to know for sure that they had been there all along. i said, "okay, ghosts! you got the last laugh, and thank you for not scaring me!"

a few days later i called my skeptical friend and told him what had happened. "and you didn't believe it was haunted," i said. he said, "are you crazy? i didn't want to scare you, but i couldn't wait to get out of there!"

What! The Pfister hotel is haunted with ghosts!? I've seen a ghost before!

I have seen what must've been a ghost one night in a cemetery a friend and I were walking through. As we were walking our bikes through the cemetery I saw a young girl standing by a grave stone. I told her that she shouldn't be wandering around the cemetery at that time of night because of "not so nice people" that could be walking through and they might hurt her. She was pale with blonde hair with a white dress at her knees. She stared at me with fearful looking eyes like she didn't know where she was. I shrugged and continued walking past her. My friend who was now several yards ahead of me asked me what was the hold up and who was I talking to. I said that girl we had just passed. I turned around to point at her and she wasn't there. There was no where she could've gone because we all were right out in the open. No,I wasn't on drugs and I wasn't scared either. But this is the truth as far as I know it. Now you can laugh at me.

I've never seen a ghost but I think a couple have tried to communicate with me. Once was when my grandfather died suddenly. I was leaving my 5:30 chem class at college when I felt like someone in my family was dead or dying and I even said that out loud. I told myself I was being silly but when I pulled into the driveway my sister came out crying and jumped in the car to tell me we had to get my mother because my aunt had called to say they had called an ambulance for my grandfather. My grandfather was dead and had probably died about the time I had my premonition. I think he was trying to tell me goodbye.
Another time I had such a strong premonition that I almost called authorities, but I was afraid. It was when Susan Smith said that she had been carjacked and her boys had been taken with her car. I had this strong feeling that they were dead and under water, it was such a strong feeling that I was literally in tears and upset as anyone would be who believes two little children have been killed. If I had been at home at the time I would have called the police in the town where she lived but I was in my car and my fear of being ridiculed allowed me to talk myself out of calling by the time I got home. I can say all of this here thanks to anonymity and the fact that ...

I was going to post a picture but in looking at pictures under ghosts I saw an orb and that made me remember that I did see an orb before. I've seen plenty of dust motes shining in the light from a window, especially when you open dusty blinds but I swear that what I saw this one time was not dust mote. I was taking lots of pictures before, during and after my youngest sister's wedding and I swear I saw orbs which were not dust motes or any kind of flying insect. I was in the church in the pew where I was going to be sitting and my future brother-in-law and his groomsmen were on the grooms side of the alter. There was no one in the pews in front of where the men were standing and no one in the aisle when I noticed three balls of light on the camera screen. I thought it was something on the lens so I turned the camera around to clean it but nothing was there and then I noticed the orbs without looking through the camera. One was in the pews across from me and two were in the aisle. The flew fast and they flew in different directions. I really believe that it was the spirits of my grandmothers and the grooms grandfather. I even noticed that I captured one of the orbs on film when I downloaded the pictures onto my computer. I just wish I had had the camera on video instead of on still pictures because everyone would have been able to see how the orbs moved in differing directions and fast like they had purpose not because of a draft. They were only about eight to ten feet from me and I was not moving except when I moved the camera to look at the lens or put my arms down in between taking pictures.

My son-in-law had his step grandfather visit him, who he was very close to, after he died, and my mother visited my daughter who she was very close to, but my daughter didn't know or feel a thing.......my son-in-law did.....he said Grandma showed up.......it has scared him and he doesn't like it, but he seems to have the sixth sense, which he has to accept. Yes, I have pictures of orbs too, seen many in photos of the adult education class I was in several years ago, very interesting, some people were disbelievers, and others were there because of an experience.....loved the class and obtained much information from it. I am a believer!
