ktla.com - A 28-year-old clerk at the "Family Christian Book Store" was arrested Sunday after authorities found a hidden camera in the store's restroom.

Joseph David Ramon Moreaux of Lancaster was arrested on charges of peeping with a recording device and issued a citation. He was later released.

Investigators say a female patron of the bookstore contacted the Simi Valley Police Department after she noticed what appeared to be a camera in the woman's bathroom.

Officers found a camera hidden in between boxes in the corner of the restroom, which was used by both men and women, police said.

They also found video on the recorder that showed Moreaux hiding the device. He inadvertently recorded himself positioning the device, police said.... Read full article »

despicable! Although i wouldn't start throwing out accusations against the religion quite yet. I believe EVERY religion has quite a few sickos flyin' around.

Ok you're obviously misunderstanding me. My point is that there will be sick people all over the world. "Every religion has sickos flying around" kind of like every school has sickos, and ever company has sickos and every EVERYTHING has perverted people around. It has nothing to do with their environment - these people are sick independently of their religion and education etc.

They can be found everywhere, including people that are a part of any and all religions. My point is NOT that it has to do with religion, but that we shouldn't go blaming the fact that he's sick on his supposed Christian lifestyle. Lots of these kind of perverted stories are shocking because the people involved are supposedly "religious". Again...my point is simply that these people are sick because they're sick. I'm agreeing with you. But somehow you're wanting to argue about it.

I agree! The reason why we're all so shocked by these stories because they come from people who are supposed to be a part of the religious values they "agree" to! It's very sad. But you're right - every place, religion etc has someone like this guy running around. :(

I know a lot of Christians that have to have a mental illness. This does not surprise me at all it seems to pop up every once in a while. Now the article does not state if the clerk claims to be a Christian or not and I don't think it matters.
