The British Bishop who claimed that there were no gas chambers during the Holocaust has finally decided to apologize. The Catholic Bishop, Richard Williamson, was criticized worldwide for his remarks on the Holocaust. And, although Williamson apologized for his comments, and said that he didn't mean to offend anyone, he never redacted his statements either. It was mandatory that the British Bishop apologize for the Holocaust denying remarks in order to be admitted to the church as a clergyman.
Is the Bishop's apology about the Holocaust apology too late?

it's not a case of the apology being 'too late'...it was purely perfunctory and he evidently lacked sincerity.
I forgive the British Bishop for his Holocaust remark. At least he apologized.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Bishop and his Holocaust remark.
