What's so weird about a church promoting spiritual AND political liberty? One defends the other. Without the means to defend your liberties, you would soon have none, government being what is is by nature.

It does not appear to me that the point is to promote guns. This congregation agree to this so they already are pro gun. I read the pastor as wanting to promote gun safety and responsibility.

WHAT! You think its human NATURE to play around with guns? So in our natural state, with society, we'd be going around playing with guns? What guns? Out in nature there are NO guns. It can't be in a human nature to play with guns when its not a natural occurrence at all.

This has nothing to do with saving souls either. This is clearly a political statement in support of full 2nd amendment rights. Besides, if you, the pastor, or anyone thinks guns are a way to save your soul, you forget about a little rule called "Thou Shalt not kill"
