Question Religion

Genesis 1 is wrong. "In the beginning" God created etc.....is a misquote and has been published incorrectly since the first Bible in 1611. Do you know what the real beginning verse actually says?

genesis 1:1 is not wrong it is correct....Y would they keep printing it if they knew it was wrong?!? there are no mistakes in Gods Holy Word the Bible. These scriptures hav remained the same for a reason and they will continue to remain how they are. I read the KJV Bible and I go to an Independent Baptist Church and I was raised this way through a christian family..and in a christian enviroment. And I taught on a KJV (King James Version) Bible bases....If you Know that its wrong...then what is Genesis 1:1 and answer me this....Is the whole Bible a lie Because of a small "typo"?

The Bible was cobbled together in the 4th century, long before 1611.

In Genesis 1, on the first page of the Bible, man is claimed to have been created on "day" 6 - the last day before Yahweh rested - after everything else, including all other animals, and all the plants. In Genesis 2, man is claimed to have been made before a single plant had been created, which according to the version in Genesis 1 was "day" 3. So which is it?

Obviously there are hundreds of other contradictions; but it’s interesting that the first one is on the first page.

Who is the father of Joseph?

Matthew 1:16 - And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Luke 3:23 - And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli.

    How did Judas die?

Matthew 27:5 - And he cast down the pieces of silver into the temple and departed, and went out and hanged himself.

Acts 1:18 - And falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all of his bowels gushed out.

Are you claiming that the Jews do not understand Hebrew? Here are three Jewish resources that all translate the passage in the traditional manner. In fact I couldn't fine one Jewish reference that didn't and I checked several.

I've checked everywhere and I can't find a thing on what you are talking about. You should be very careful when you make such a claim about the Holy Word of God!

The KJV is NOT the Holy Word of God. The original Hebrew and Greek texts are.

Read the translation from the original writings of the Hebrew Bible from 2300 years ago. I found documentation from Gerald Schroeder's Hidden Face of God. I've read it and he's right..Saint Jerome screwed up his translation.

The first Christian Bible was written by Saint Jerome of France in 1611. He translated the original 2300 year old Hebrew writings into latin. Not fully knowing the Hebrew language he wrote "In the beginning" The orignal Hebrew writings of which all Bibles (old testament) are written says..."With Wisdom God created...etc...." Big difference!

It's important because In the beginning is so weak and wrongly stated, With Wisdom, expresses the intelligence of God. Wisdom is what scientists cannot explain nor see about life. Wisdom is the invisible force energy that governs and operates every decision making molecule and molecular cell of life. Wisdom is the unseen individual motivation that makes everything in the universe operate and function. It is scientifically the connection between the physical and the Meta-physical. Indepth study into astrophysics explains this and makes the connection.

It's there. You may have to go through a library and get the original writings and have it translated but you'll see it if you do. Go ask a Rabi if nothing else.
