Yes, yes, we allllll know that I am weird and morbid. But there is just something about a truly old cemetery that I find beautiful. Maybe it's the quiet and solitude, I don't know. Anyone else feel this way?

And so help my God, if I have ONE person on here telling me that because I am writing this question, I must be some crazy devil worshiper, I will go off. Thank you, and have a beautiful day. LOL.

EDIT-
K, I worded this question strangely, so answer yes if you think I'm nuts and no if you agree, LOL.

Any place can be romantic. and the only really creepy graveyard is one so old that the graves are no longer marked and the only way you know there was a grave there is if you step down and the ground sinks a little.

At last, someone who feels the same way as i do! I love taking photos and doing rubbings in graveyards. I think they're so pretty and orphic. The older the better. I don't like French graveyards that much though. They're too well kept. The stones are all clean, tidy and organized, like in military graveyards. I love the graveyards in England. They're the complete opposite. They're often left abandonned and overgrown.

    WOW.
Like I didn't want to go to London before, LOL. I really want to go to New Orleans to see the above-ground cemeteries there, do some grave rubbing's and such. I love how the stones and statues become all green and mossy from the humidity. It's so romantic. Pssh. And people say I'm creepy, LOL.

Often cemeteries right next to old churches are at very mystical and magical places, where people celebrated cults a long time before christianity came along. So why shouldn't these places be romantic?

I can see how some would be yes, like the old style ones but most of them remind of lost loved ones and I can't put that in the same catergory as romance :-)
