In the new comedy, Tropic Thunder, Robert Downey Jr. plays a white actor playing a black man in a big budget action movie. For the role, he wore a wig, prosthetic nose, and dark make up. The film is supposed to be a satire, but many people are genuinely offended by this. They find his look and voice to be stereotypical and racist. What do you think? Is Tropic Thunder racist? Or is it just a joke?

You can bet a Jacksonville, Florida man wishes he had just paid the five-bucks for a foot long at Subway. Instead, he was charged with making a false 911 call.Reginald Peterson ordered a Spicy Italian Sub with the works. Sandwich artists put mayo on mustard on it, but no sauce. That put Peterson over the edge and he called 911 to complain. He called a second time to complain officers weren't arriving fast enough. Subway workers told police the 42-year-old became belligerent and yelled when they were fixing his order. They locked him out of the store when he left to call police. When officers arrived, they tried to calm Peterson and explain the proper use of 911. Those efforts failed, and he was arrested on a charge of making false 911 calls. So, do you think he should have been arrested?

A death row inmate scheduled for execution says he's too fat to be put to death, claiming executioners would have trouble finding his veins and that his weight could diminish the effectiveness of one of the lethal injection drugs. Cooey, 41, is sentenced to die for raping and murdering two young women in 1986. His execution is scheduled for Oct. 14. awyers for Richard Cooey argue in a federal lawsuit that Cooey — 5-feet-7 and 267 pounds — had poor veins when he faced execution five years ago and the problem has been worsened by weight gain. So, is this the worst excuse ever?

Oliver Stone, the master of the "bio-pic", is no stranger to controversy. He courted scandal with JFK (1991) and Nixon (1995). But with W, the 61-year-old filmmaker isn't merely courting it — he's grabbing controversy by the lapels and giving it a big wet smacker. For the first time, he's turning his cameras not just on a living president but on one who'll still be knocking around the White House when the movie premieres late this year. The film stars Josh Brolin as George W. Bush, George Cromwel as George Bush senior, and Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush. So, do you want to see it?

Shia LaBeouf, 22, has had yet another run-in with the law! LaBeouf’s earlier incidents with the police occurred first in November 2007 for refusing to leave a Walgreens after appearing to be intoxicated, and then earlier this year when he was cited for smoking in a nonsmoking area. The former Even Stevens actor has another count to his rap sheet as of today. Reportedly, the Transformers star was involved with a car accident in Hollywood after he allegedly made a left turn in front of another car, early Sunday morning. Fortunately, there were no major injuries that occurred, although LaBeouf’s left hand was “badly injured” when his car rolled in the accident and the female passenger of his car had minor head injuries. However, the actor’s hand will require surgery, according to E! Online. To make matters worse, LaBeouf reportedly appeared intoxicated at the time and was therefore placed under arrest on the suspicion of DUI. So, do you think Shia is a good role model?

Producers for Fox's new daytime talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, must be thanking the Gods. The new chat fest just started airing this and already it has a controversy under it's belt. It took The View years to get this kind of publicity! It all started with radio personality Wendy Williams interviewing Apprentice star Omarosa about her new book. It only took a matter of minutes before a catfight broke out. So, whose side are you on?

For Disney, it seems sex and rock 'n' roll are one thing—at least when it comes to their younger and fairer stable of talent. But when it comes to drugs, the Mouse House apparently draws the line. Anticipating as much, the Barenaked Ladies have opted to bow out of the summer lineup for Disney's Music Block Party tour—a series of concerts geared toward families with kids—in the wake of singer-guitarist Steven Page's recent arrest on a cocaine charge. The group announced they would withdraw from the performance out of respect for Disney, fully aware that the bad publicity wouldn't sit well with the Mickey set. Do you think they should have still played?

Her license plate said "TROUBLE" and Elizabeth Ann Kommes apparently meant it. The 30-year-old Michigan woman allegedly offered a Wisconsin Dells police officer sexual favors and $10,000 to get out of a drunken driving ticket.According to the police report, bystanders told police last Friday that around 10 p.m. an intoxicated woman "stumbled into a vehicle" with vanity plates that read "TROUBLE" in a parking lot directly across the street from the police station.Police pulled Kommes over shortly afterward, and she admitted that she had been driving drunk, according to the complaint. In the squad car Kommes allegedly pleaded with the officer that she not be arrested and offered him $10,000 and sexual favors to let her go. So, have you ever used a bribe or sweet talk to get out of a ticket?
