</div>
      This is only one State...............If this doesn&#39;t open your eyes nothing will!

[]From  the L. A. Times

1. 40 % of all workers in L. A. County ( L. A. County has 10.2 million people)are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card.

2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.

8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

9. 21 radio stations in L. A. are Spanish speaking.

10. In L. A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.

(There are 10.2 million people in L. A. County ).

(All 10 of the above are from the Los Angeles Times)

  Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare. Over 70% of the United States &#39; annual population growth (and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from illegal immigration. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

  We are a bunch of fools for letting this continue.

  HOW  CAN YOU HELP ?

  Send copies of this letter to at least two other people. 100 would be even better.

[]This  is only one State...............

  If this doesn&#39;t open your eyes nothing will, and you wonder why Nancy Pelosi wants them to become voters!

      Joe the plumber, started the
        day early having set his
        alarm

        clock

        (MADE IN JAPAN )

    for 6 am.

    While his

    coffeepot

      (MADE IN
    CHINA )

     was
    brewing, he shaved with his

    electric
    razor

    (MADE IN HONG
    KONG ).

    He put on a

    dress
    shirt
    (MADE IN
    SRI LANKA ),

    designer
    slacks
    (MADE IN
    SINGAPORE )

     and

    shoes
    (MADE IN KOREA )

     After cooking
    his breakfast in his new

    electric
    skillet

    (MADE IN INDIA )

    he sat down with
    his breakfast on dishes (MADE IN CHINA ),

    grabbed his calculator
    (MADE IN
    MEXICO )

    to see how much he
    could spend today. After setting his

    watch
    (MADE IN
    TAIWAN )

    to the

    radio
    (MADE IN
    CHINA )

    he got in
    his

    car
    (MADE IN
    GERMANY )

    filled it with

    gas

     (from Saudi Arabia )

    and continued his
    search

    for a good paying
    AMERICAN JOB.

    At the end

    of yet another
    discouraging

     and
    fruitless day,

     he checked
    his

     Computer (Made In Malaysia ). Then Joe decided to
    relax for a while.

     He put on
    his

    sandals

     (MADE IN BRAZIL )

    poured himself a glass
    of

    wine

    (MADE IN
    FRANCE )

    and turned on
    his

    TV

    (MADE IN
    INDONESIA ),

    and then
    wondered

    why he can&#39;t
    find

    a good paying
    job

The Bush retirement plan: build library, enjoy perks
By Maria Recio, McClatchy Newspapers Maria Recio, Mcclatchy Newspapers Sun Jan 4, 2:01 pm ET

WASHINGTON — President George W. Bush&#39;s &quot;after-life,&quot; as Laura Bush calls the post-presidency, is shaping up to be pretty comfortable, with a Dallas office, staffers, Secret Service protection, a travel budget, medical coverage and a $196,700 annual pension, all at taxpayers&#39; expense.

The Bushes will move to their new $2 million , 8,500-square-foot Dallas home — not paid for by taxpayers — on Jan. 20 , and there Bush will be close to his future presidential library at Southern Methodist University .

&quot;We&#39;re working on a conceptual design for the building,&quot; said Mark Langdale , president of the George W. Bush Foundation . The president will help develop the $300 million structure, which will include a library, museum and policy institute.

Fundraising is just beginning, Langdale said. Once the project is finished in 2013, the National Archives and Records Administration will take over the operation of the library and museum, at federal expense. Construction will be paid for with private funds, and Bush is expected to be involved in organizing the fundraising drive.

&quot;He is enthusiastic about spending a lot of his time and effort working on the programs of the institute,&quot; Langdale said.

Bush will maintain an office nearby in space acquired by the General Services Administration , which, under the Former Presidents Act, will pay for the office suite and staff to assist him for the rest of his life.

However, Bush will be the first president not to benefit from one former lifetime benefit: Secret Service protection.

&quot;He&#39;ll be the first one to receive it for 10 years,&quot; said Malcolm Wiley , Secret Service spokesman. Congress changed the law in the 1990s so that any president elected after Jan. 1, 1997 , and his or her spouse will receive the federal protection for only 10 years.

Bush&#39;s pension, which is tied to the base pay of the most senior government executives and increases with federal cost-of-living adjustments, will be about half the $400,000 annual presidential salary. He and Vice President Dick Cheney will receive transition expenses as well for seven months — one month before the inauguration and six months afterward — &quot;to facilitate their transition to private life,&quot; according to the Congressional Research Service .

The GSA also covers travel expenses for any official activities attended by a former president, as well as two staff members. Former President Bill Clinton was allocated $50,000 for travel in fiscal year 2008 and former President George H.W. Bush , $56,000 .

Former presidents and their families are entitled to health care in military hospitals, although they have to pay a reimbursement rate set by the Office of Management and Budget .

Bush will receive a state funeral upon his death, with full military honors for the former commander in chief.

AP IMPACT: Wall Street still flying corporate jets
By STEVENSON JACOBS, AP Business Writer Stevenson Jacobs, Ap Business Writer 41 mins ago

NEW YORK – Crisscrossing the country in corporate jets may no longer fly in Detroit after car executives got a dressing down from Congress. But on Wall Street, the coveted executive perk has hardly been grounded.

Six financial firms that received billions in bailout dollars still own and operate fleets of jets to carry executives to company events and sometimes personal trips, according to an Associated Press review.

The jets serve as airborne offices, time-savers for executives for whom time is money — lots of money. And some firms are cutting back, either by selling the planes or leasing them.

Still, Wall Street&#39;s reliance of the rarified mode of travel has largely escaped the scorn poured on the Big Three automakers.

Insurance giant American International Group Inc., which has received about $150 billion in bailout money, has one of the largest fleets among bailout recipients, with seven planes, according to a review of Federal Aviation Administration records.

&quot;Our aircraft are being used very sparingly right now,&quot; AIG spokesman Nicholas J. Ashooh said. &quot;I&#39;m not saying there&#39;s no use, but there&#39;s very minimal use.&quot;

To cut costs, AIG sold two jets earlier this year and is selling or canceling orders for four others.

Five other financial companies that got a combined $120 billion in government cash injections — Citigroup Inc., Wells Fargo &amp; Co., Bank of America Corp., JPMorgan Chase &amp; Co. and Morgan Stanley — all own aircraft for executive travel, according to regulatory filings earlier this year and interviews.

A cross-country trip in a mid-sized jet costs about $20,000 for fuel. Maintenance, storage and pilot fees put the cost far higher.

Many U.S. companies are giving up the perk. The inventory of used private jets was up 52 percent as of September, according to recent JPMorgan data on the health of the private aircraft industry.

A few big U.S. companies have shunned jet ownership. Chip maker Intel Corp., for example, requires executives and employees to fly commercial. Intel occasionally charters jets for executives on overseas trips for security reasons, though.

For automakers, the public relations nightmare exploded last month when the chief executives of Ford, GM and Chrysler were criticized for flying on corporate jets to Washington to ask Congress for federal bailout money.

&quot;Couldn&#39;t you all have downgraded to first class or jet-pooled, or something, to get here?&quot; Rep. Gary Ackerman, D-N.Y., asked the CEOs.

When the executives went back to Capitol Hill two weeks later for a second round of hearings, they traveled by car.

So why were Wall Street executives spared from the corporate-jet backlash? One reason is that they didn&#39;t have to go before Congress to request bailout money, so no one asked how they traveled to Washington.

But an AP review of Securities and Exchange Commission filings and FAA records offers a glimpse of Wall Street firms&#39; ownership and use of private aircraft. Among the findings:

• CITIGROUP: Has a wholly owned subsidiary, Citiflight Inc., that handles air travel for executives. Citi spokeswoman Shannon Bell refused to comment on the size of the firm&#39;s fleet but said it has been reduced by two-thirds over the past eight years. FAA records show four jets and a helicopter registered to the company.

In 2007, then-CEO Charles Prince used company aircraft for personal trips for security reasons. Those trips cost the company $170,972 for that year. Current CEO Vikram Pandit began reimbursing the company for all personal travel on company planes since being appointed in November 2007.

Use of Citigroup&#39;s aircraft currently is confined to a &quot;limited number of executives,&quot; Bell said. &quot;Executives are encouraged to fly commercial whenever possible to reduce expenses.&quot;

• MORGAN STANLEY: Has reduced its executive jet fleet size from three planes to two since 2005, company spokesman Mark Lake said. FAA records show two Gulfstream G-Vs as registered to the company.

In 2007, CEO John Mack&#39;s personal use of company aircraft totaled $355,882, according to a February proxy filing. Mack is required to use company aircraft for personal trips for security reasons.

• JPMORGAN: Registered as the owner of four Gulfstream jets, including a 2007 ultra-long range flagship G550 model, FAA records show. A G550 ordered for delivery that year would have cost roughly $47.5 million.

CEO Jamie Dimon is required to use company aircraft for personal trips; In 2007, his personal use of company jets totaled $211,182, according to a May filing with the SEC. Company spokesman Joe Evangelisti refused to comment on whether the bank has changed its policy on corporate aircraft use since accepting $25 billion in TARP money.

• BANK OF AMERICA: Registered as the owner of nine planes, including four Gulfstreams, FAA records show. Company spokesman Scott Silvestri refused to say whether the company has changed its policy on corporate aircraft use since taking $15 billion in bailout money.

CEO Kenneth Lewis, also required to use company aircraft for personal trips, racked up $127,643 in such travel last year, according to a March filing with the SEC.

• WELLS FARGO: Owns a single jet that &quot;is strictly for business purposes under appropriate circumstances,&quot; spokeswoman Julia Tunis Bernard said. &quot;No (government) funds will be used for corporate jet travel,&quot; she added.

SEC rules require publicly held companies to disclose executives&#39; personal use of corporate aircraft. But there&#39;s &quot;a lot of gray area&quot; in how they do it, said David Yermack, a finance professor at the Stern School of Business at New York University who has studied the matter.

&quot;If you use the plane for a personal trip but make one business call, should you report it?&quot; he said. &quot;Or if you&#39;re playing golf with potential business partners, does a company report that as business or personal?&quot;

As mounting losses force companies to cut costs, some are becoming stingier about personal use of the company plane. Merrill Lynch &amp; Co., for example, has banned such trips, according to company filings.

Experts say other companies that took bailout money will probably follow suit.

&quot;The personal use of these planes is virtually indefensible at this point,&quot; said Patrick McGurn, special counsel at shareholder advisory firm RiskMetrics Group. &quot;Once you&#39;re on the federal dole, the pressure is going to become immense on these firms to cut these costs.&quot;

Private jet manufacturers say the debate over executive travel has been overblown.

&quot;What people don&#39;t understand is that business jets are mobile offices,&quot; said Robert N. Baugniet, Gulfstream&#39;s director of corporate communications. &quot;If time has any value to you, then you&#39;ll understand why people use business jets.&quot;

He said the dustup hasn&#39;t hurt orders for new planes.

Still, some firms have avoided corporate jet ownership. Goldman Sachs Group, whose executives in past years have been among the highest-paid in the industry, has never owned its own aircraft since going public in 1999, spokesman Michael DuVally said.

The company does make private planes available to some executives through a fractional jet agreement, a timeshare-style arrangement, according to filings. Duvally refused to say how much the company spends on its fractional agreement.

Wary of being perceived as opulent, most companies fly in unmarked jets. Aviation buffs can usually track planes over the Internet using aircraft tail numbers. But many companies, including AIG and Citigroup, have blocked the public&#39;s ability to do so for security reasons.

Some corporate chieftains make no excuses for flying the private skies.

After years of railing against such costs, billionaire investor and Berkshire Hathaway Inc. CEO Warren Buffet broke down in 1989 and bought a Gulfstream IV-SP using $9.7 million in company funds. He named the aircraft &quot;The Indefensible.&quot;

Skeletal remains don&#39;t reveal how Fla. girl died
By MARK WANGRIN, Associated Press Writer Mark Wangrin, Associated Press Writer 1 hr 21 mins ago

ORLANDO, Fla. – Pieces of a tiny skeleton found in swampy woods can tell investigators one thing: Missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony was killed. What they can&#39;t help explain, authorities said Friday, is how or when she died. DNA tests conducted on remains found by a utility worker last week less than a half-mile from where the child lived matched Caylee&#39;s genetic profile, a county medical examiner said. But the only clue they give about her death is that her bones didn&#39;t suffer trauma, said Orange County medical examiner Dr. Jan Garavaglia.

&quot;Bottom line is, folks, no child should have to go through this,&quot; Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary said.

The discovery of the child&#39;s remains came after months of searches, twists and turns in the investigation. Caylee&#39;s mother, 22-year-old Casey Anthony, was indicted in October on first-degree murder and other charges, even though no body was found. She has insisted that she left the girl with a baby sitter in June, but she didn&#39;t report her missing until July.

A search team said they did not check the wooded area sooner because it was under water from the summer&#39;s heavy rains. But the utility worker who provided the tip, Roy Kronk, said he had contacted the sheriff&#39;s office in August to report that he had seen &quot;something suspicious, a bag, in the same area.&quot;

The sheriff&#39;s office said he first called on Aug. 11 to report the bag. A deputy responded but didn&#39;t find anything and was unable to locate him. Kronk called a crime hot line the following day and the information was passed on to the sheriff&#39;s office criminal investigation division. On Aug. 13, he called the sheriff&#39;s office a third time. He met a deputy, but authorities cleared the area as a place of interest in the search a short time later.

Beary said his department was investigating its response.

&quot;If we missed a window of opportunity, we don&#39;t know,&quot; he said. &quot;I&#39;m not throwing anybody under the bus because we don&#39;t know.&quot;

It took authorities several days to analyze the remains found last Thursday, and some are still undergoing tests. Some of the bones were as small as a pebble and had been scattered, and the fragments were hard to find by excavators who searched on their hands and knees, authorities said.

Garavaglia — the star of cable TV&#39;s &quot;Dr G: Medical Examiner&quot; — said authorities concluded Caylee was killed through DNA tests and &quot;circumstantial evidence.&quot; But she said she was certain this was homicide, not an accident, and didn&#39;t expect further testing to reveal a specific cause.

&quot;I wouldn&#39;t have issued the report if I wasn&#39;t sure,&quot; she said.

A jail chaplain told the girl&#39;s mother that the remains were Caylee&#39;s before the news conference began. Her attorney, Jose Baez, was with her at the jail shortly after.

&quot;This is her private moment,&quot; Baez said. &quot;This is her life she&#39;s trying to battle through right now.&quot;

The case captivated the Orlando community where the little girl&#39;s family lived, and Caylee has been a staple on national news as her grandparents pleaded for tips, promising that the girl was still alive.

Volunteers and investigators mounted several searches through the summer and fall, looking at wooded areas near Orlando International Airport, local parks and even the grounds where the bones were found.

Caylee&#39;s grandmother first called authorities in July to say she hadn&#39;t seen the girl, whose third birthday passed shortly after her disappearance, for a month. Her daughter&#39;s car smelled like death, she said.

Police immediately interviewed Anthony and soon said everything she told them about Caylee&#39;s whereabouts was false. The baby sitter was nonexistent and the apartment where Anthony said she had last seen Caylee had been empty for months. Anthony also lied about where she worked, they said.

Other troubling details emerged: Photos surfaced of Anthony partying after her daughter went missing. Friends said she was a habitual liar, but also a good mother.

Last month, the Orange County State Attorney turned over almost 800 pages of documents showing someone used the Anthonys&#39; home computer to do Internet searches for terms like &quot;neck breaking&quot; and &quot;household weapons.&quot;

In mid-March, someone searched Google and Wikipedia for peroxide, shovels, acetone, alcohol and chloroform. Traces of chloroform, which is used to induce unconsciousness and a component of human decomposition, were found in the trunk of Casey Anthony&#39;s car during forensic testing, the documents say.

Brad Conway, an attorney who represents George and Cindy Anthony, Casey&#39;s parents, said they will cooperate with investigators.

&quot;They know now their precious granddaughter is safe and can serve as a guardian angel to protect missing children and their families,&quot; Conway said.

If convicted of first-degree murder, Anthony faces an automatic life sentence as prosecutors have announced they will not seek the death penalty. Her trial is scheduled for March.

Without knowing how the girl died, a defense lawyer can suggest to a jury that labeling Caylee&#39;s death a homicide is only speculation, said A. Russell Smith, a Jacksonville attorney and immediate past president of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

&quot;Juries are particularly conscientious in homicide cases because the penalties are so severe,&quot; Smith said. &quot;So, to the extent that there are gaps in critical evidence, it makes the prosecutor&#39;s job much more difficult.&quot;
