    Bale will win because we can really see the nit and grit of his character. It's like there was real dirt under his fingernails. Adam West was like watching a comic book, and Keaton, Kilmer and Clooney were like watching a circus (no small thanks to Tim Burton).

    Christian Bale is doing a superb job of providing a realism to a character we all want to know more about.

    you cant beat the voice... it's get's deeper when he get's into the batman suit. "Where is he?!!!!" ... if i was the criminal, i would have told him what ever he wanted too.

    Bale + Ledger = Ledger saved the day in Dark Knight !!!

    I went to the premiere of this film and Ledger makes the film... Oscar worthy performance! Without him Bale would sink. I really don't get all the hype about Bale as an actor. He is average at best and unappealing to look at. He is like some bus boy at a local Irish pub. Would love to see another actor cast instead of Bale in this new Batman franchise.

    Most of you are probably too young ot remember, but the reaction to Burton's 1st Batman was much like this one. For it's day it was terrific, and by default, you have to say KEaton was the best Batman, because if he hadn't been so good, there would be no "Dark Knight" now.
    Also, hype on Ledger is over the top. Nicholson got the same kind of reviews. Anyone that plays Joker will get that, as Joker is one of themost vile criminals in the comic book world. He is, quite simply, a psychopath in its purest form, and that gives an actor a lot of leeway and range to exhibit.

    Ceasar Romero was good as the Joker in the TV show, and that was a mild handling of the subject manner.

    I have always been a fan of batman,but I like the dark side of batman. He is more mysterious than ever before. Christian Bale really portrays this batman well. I love the seens were he is kicking-ass.
