i'm not voting for christian bale just because he's the newest..i am voting for him because he is the most real character. He managed to completely change what I thought of the character. His portrayal showed that superheroes can actually be real people...that we can all be superheroes...that it doesn't mean you are perfect..but rather that you want to sincerely help and you use your resources to do so. I loved how he fought with all of his own personal demons and that he was torn between what was right and yet what he should do. That's so real life. Some of the other guys were good (Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer), but the rest are only good because they just fill the need of superficial superhero. I wanted a character that I really could root for. -

The best batman would be if you took Adam West's awesome factor and add it to Christian Bale's HOT/ bad ass factor..... that would be so sweet! I watched the Adam Wests batman with my brother and his best friend and i loved it!! -

I love Michael because the original is the greatest! But I gotta go with Cristian because he really has that hot playboy Bruce Wayne down but he's the real dark and evil Batman that we see in the comics. -

chistian bale so far has done better batman. But i think he has done better has the jocker. how many of you have seen American pschico,there are some scenes that let me think that way. Another fact, what American pschico has in commun with Christian Bale and batman, well in American pschico movie Christians actors last name is BEATMAN just take the "e" and you will have youra number one movie. -

Hard to decide between Michael Keaton and Christian Bale. Just 2 different eras. Michael Keaton brought a new face to the Batman, and certainly gave a performance ahead of its time. But Christian Bale brought an even darker, no nonsense, don't mess with me attitude to the Batman that Keaton couldn't have done. I can't choose, so I won't.
