CAR-LOTTA TROUBLES: Have you ever run out of gas and had to push your car?
We recently got back from a small tour and lemme tell you, we had car troubles. When it wasn't overheating, it was simply guzzling gas. Once in rural Texas, we ran out gas and had to push our car a couple of miles. That was less than fun. Check out the video to see our touring adventures!So, have you ever run out of gas and had to push your car?

Answered Yes. Hasn't that happened to everybody at some point?
Great Video :D
When I was younger I had tons of crappy cars; hence car problems. Now I'm an "adult" and when my kids ask me, "what's a nice car?" I reply, "one that starts every time and gets you where you want to go."
ROFL - crappy car memories:
having to park forward on a downward slope so I could pop-start the car;
learning to dry the rotar cap (or something like that);
putting a light bulb under the hood over night so the poor cold beast could start in the morning;
driving with 2 liter bottles of hot water placed on the dash as defrosters, and when they "didn't work" I would pull over and pour a little water on the windshield to de-ice.
Yup, it's fun to be young. Fond memories, but I didn't have kids to take care of =) -

I don't think I ever had to push my car, because I can tell when its about to run out, so I manage to pull it off the road safely. But I have run out a few times. The reasoon is, my gas gauge is broken, so it is always on "E", even after I fill it up. I have to get a full tank and calculate the mileage at the point I'm going to run out. I can go 280 miles on a tank of gas (14MPG), so I have to do math every time I get gas. One time I went 5 miles past where I had calculated I'd run out, and I ran out. Not fun. It doesn't happen that often, in fact, it has been about 2 years since it happened last. But it is not fun, let me tell you.
