Well, I live in Romania, so I'm not sure, but i guess there was a closeted gay teacher while I was in high school.

I was a teacher for 17 years and i am gay. some of my students might have known. There were at least 8 or 9 other gay teachers at that school at the same time. It was never an issue. Certainly the faculty and administration all knew. What one's sexual preference is , isnt a determining statement about their ability to teach or do anything for that matter.

God he was so creapy! He walked into our boy school locker room and just stood there looking at us changing our clothes!!!! he made my friend Jake do 15 push ups ( in his "pink" underwear) because he was talking to Ryan in the bathroom. We told the VP bout this and, well he didn't come back for a week.
Now. He hates us! But still walks into our locker room.
His boyfriend told us he was gay.

and i don't want any lessons either. seriously, i may have, but i don't think that's a relevant factor, unless that teacher is trying to use his/her position as a political platform or some parent got wind of it and made it an issue.

Yes. I had a lot of gay professors back in college, but not that I'm complaining or anything. They were good professors and most of them are very animated in their teaching methods, which made learning more fun!

my english teacher was gay. He was sweet. He was also the cheerleading coach and drama. So it was a dead give away. He never said he was gay until the last day of school. But we all knew he was already so it wasnt a big shocker or anything. LOL

people said that the high school librarian was gay. but he's really cool and more power to the people that choose to be that way its up to them not the public. and i see nothing wrong with people of that lifestyle choice and teaching.
