That's a silly question. Seeing the word God on money isn't making me nor anyone else all of a sudden go to church. Since it's not inspiring me, why is it despairing to others?

if you don't believe then who gives a shit!!!
  • raves   -1 [-] brady969 replied to Scott's sodahead
I do because the Christians are deciding what's moral and what's not in government and laws.
  • raves +3   [-] dragonfli replied to brady969
Respectfully - Your only solution is to not vote for a Christian or to run for office yourself.
  • raves     [-] brady969 replied to dragonfli
Or vote for someone that can separate and not push their moral authority on the people through guilt and scare tactics.
  • raves +1   [-] dragonfli replied to brady969
Respectfully again - but is God scary? I know atheists and agnostics who do not believe that God or Christians are scary.
  • raves     [-] brady969 replied to dragonfli
Some Gods are scary and so are they're followers.
  • raves +1   [-] dragonfli replied to brady969
    Agreed on that one.

  • raves     [-] Nic replied to THE REAL STORY
says anyone who is a true AMERICAN
  • raves     [-] texadia replied to Nic
Are you a true American? There aren't that many left in this country..
  • raves +2   [-] THE REAL STORY replied to Nic
And in your 16 years you've discovered what that means? Not knocking your young age, but you've got alot to learn.
  • raves     [-] Nic replied to THE REAL STORY
    haha and so do you.
  • raves +1   [-] Bob.N--Watching B.O. replied to Nic
A true American is a God fearing, family oriented American. What are you?
  • raves +1   [-] Decided replied to THE REAL STORY
says me. there can be atheists who should not be forced to pray on a dollar bill... no one should have religion forced on them - it's our right to religious freedom in our constitution!
  • raves     [-] THE REAL STORY replied to Decided
Who prays to a dollar bill? No one is forcing anyone to do anything. No one's rights are being violated and no law is being broken. That's what makes this whole argument pointless.

Leave it alone. I don`t worship money. The truth is that it doesn`t matter whether we leave it on or take it off, but it`s been there for a long time and some folks would be upset about it.

They might be able to take that phrase off the money, but they can't take that phrase off our hearts where "in God We Trust" actually has meaning.
