Answered Environment

It's our most urgent crises, yet I only hear about Barack's middle name, or what his preacher said.

While I think 'The Environment' needs our utmost attention, I think 'All of the Above' deserves to be noted!

All of us as Americans need to focus on taking care of home first and foremost. I understand the importance of being a World leader and example and everything. What kind of example are we now? When our economy SUCKS, and we have starving people here in the 'good ole' USA. I know some choose to live that life but, we need to take care of home first. Then the rest..................... Love n Peace

    Answered Immigration

The illegal immigration issue has had far more impact on our economy than they want to admit to. Of course, those eligible to work in the U.S. do not want these jobs. They know they are being paid below minimum wage, no benefits, no Social Security, etc. When offer the jobs at fair pay and benefits, they do take these jobs. It hurts our economy to have these folks unemployed. States that have enacted legislation requiring the E-verify system to be used, have found the unemployment rates went down when employers were no longer able to hire illegel immigrants (who went back home - deported themselves when no work). The unemployment rates went down because the employers then offered the jobs at fair market value. This is just one issue with illegal immigration, but securing our borders is a start. Remember if everyone should have the right to come to the U.S. because they want to, then we must be prepared to have 6 billion people in the U. S. If we can't handle 6 billion, then at some point you have to be able to say "yes" to some and "no" to others. Otherwise, we will end up being a 3-world nation.

To help the global economy, we should encourage the creation of jobs in the home countries. The company I work for has plants in the U.S. and the products are sold globally. We also have plants that are in the countries we do business with but the products are sold in that country. In this manner, we retain jobs in the U.S., and create jobs in other countries to help their standard of living to improve.

Those who can not make a rational argument revert to name calling. That's why the Repugs lost. That's why tehy are destined to become obsolete. In a few years, the Dems will be running against Independents and we will all live better. The Dems will be forced to live up tp their promises and if they don't we'll have Independents who will!
  • raves     [-] Barefoot replied to james
No need to get ugly we all know what they are. Pray for them to see the light. Pray hard.
  • raves     [-] Betty replied to Barefoot
Oh, and what are they? I'd be interested to hear what you have to say about them? BTW Prayers are no better than coincidence. Pray or don't pray, the results are the same. Nothing fails like prayers.

I am told that god "is all knowing" that he knows the past, the present AND the future. And that god knew before we even came on this site that we would say what we are doing. If that's the case, then he knew every calamity that was ever going to occur: Which pedophile was going to pick up little Samathan, rape her, torture her, and kill her before it even happened. And he made the pedophile and little Samatha anyway. Wow, whatta guy! God sure enough works in mysterious ways, doesn't he? (Usual answer for god's atrocities)

Go away you are ugly, no need for ugly here. NO need. He does know everything and then some, but it is up to us to keep the faith and try to follow him, you jackass. faith jackass

Agree with bc98usa below, the system is completely corrupt, NONE of these "issues" can ever be resolved until we are liberated from the criminals who are now in control of the US government. People have to get themselves educated now or its over.

HEALTH CARE! We need to pass a universal, single payer health care package so our country can move ahead with this so that we can compete with the rest of the world, and so that Americans don't have to worry anymore about medical bankruptcy if anyone gets catastrophically sick.
  • raves     [-] pat replied to nnnnnnn
Just to enlighten you a littl bit........Canada, you get put on a list if you have a serious illness and by the time they get to you, you are dead. There isn't enough money to give everyone everything they need. It sounds good, but it is impossible. That is what is going to happen in this country. Health care isn't cheap and there isn't enough money to go around. That is why the good Senator Obama - now President, said that the way to good health is PREVENTIVE. That means if you don't loose the wt, quite smoking, keep your blood sugar under control - etc., you get put at the back of the line if you get seriousely ill. The individual person will have much more responsibility for their health than you might think. Good Luck blood sugar line seriousely ill individual person responsibility health luck
  • raves     [-] sherpeace replied to pat
Are you sure? Any Canadians out there?! I am pretty sure you are wrong. In fact, I believe we wait longer than they do. If you want special treatment, you can always pay for a private doctor, but I have gotten excellent care in England, Switzerland and Latin America, better than here, in fact. And I have friends who made sure their kids were born in Canada so they would ALWAYS have health care.
30% of Americans go without health care at some point in their life. In fact, they mey be even higher NOW.
Just keep sticking your heads in the sand Repugs. You are becoming extinct and it is for the best that you are.
  • raves     [-] Lindy replied to nnnnnnn
The government has already bankrupt social security and is giving social security and medicare to people who have never paid in one penny and you think that this Government can supply us with adequate health care. You had better think again. People from all over the world come to this country to get health care. Why? Because we have the best in the world. That will end the minute “SOCIALIZED” health care is accomplished in this county. You people need to think about what you are asking for. This will be one more thing that will cause this great country to implode.
  • raves     [-] sherpeace replied to Lindy
People do not earn social security who did NOT pay for it! That's not how the system works! In fact, some of us who paid into it can't even collect. CA teachers, for instance.
You Repugs should get your facts straight before you open your mouth!
Also, if you want to pay a LOT more for your food and other essential products, go ahead and insist we deport all undocumented immigrants. I want to know who else is going to move from farm to farm, live with fifty other people and make about $10 a day!

Constitutional Crisis? Eligibility Clauses(s): IS Barack Hussein Obama, A.K.A., Barry Soetoro, Barry Obama, Barack Dunham, or Barry Dunham's eligibile under Article. II. Section. 1. Clause 5. to be President or to be a Senator under Article. I. Section. 2. Clause 2.?

The "Certification of Live Birth" (COLB that Obama is using, fake or not) is apparently issued for foreign births abroad. Why does it matter that we see Obama’s real birth certificate?

If we are to elect an unqualified candidate that assumes office, nothing that office holder does has any validity. Imagine a president that has no authority running your military, nominating judges and other officials, and pretending to sign laws: all of those acts are automatically invalid. That is the 'only' reason this matters. McCain had to do it, in court no less. WHY won't Obama? His silence is deafening.

Maybe we'll find out Nov. 18. See "Mystery deepens over Barack Obama’s origins".

    http://www.contrariancommenta...

Andy’s court hearing on November 18th may resolve questions (or maybe not)

The only certain fact is that we know Barack Obama lied to the American people. Why?

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with race. Especially considering he's 50% Caucasian, 43.75% Arab and 6.25% African Negro. It's a serious Constitutional ISSUE.

A person is a citizen if born of an American Citizen. It doesn't matter what country he was born in. BUT, he was born in Hawaii and at the time, Hawaii was a state of the United States of America.

I know of no lies and neither do you. You are simply a racist.
  • raves     [-] bc98usa replied to Betty
Uh, Huh. What part of "this has NOTHING to do with race" do you NOT understand?? I won't waste my time trying to explain the LIES or the legal technicalities of "natural born". They're everywhere IF you DARE to look. Perhaps It's above your "pay grade"? It's obvious by your lame attempt to label me a racist that your one of those extreme liberals. Pray to your "messiah Obama". I pray to God.
