What kind of radio do you listen to?

What kind of radio do you listen to?

  • Off the airwaves free radio
  • satelite radio (XM Serius)
  • Internet only radio stations. This includes custom programmmed ones like Launchcast, Pandora, etc.
  • Out of state or worldwide stations via the web
  • Who needs radio when I've got my iPod, CD's, Phonograph records, Cassettes, 8 Track, etc?
  • None of the above

    and switch to cd's when the wsongs ib the radio turn to garbage :)

    Answered Internet only radio stations. This includes custom programmmed ones like Launchcast, Pandora, etc.

    I listen to my Launchcast station and FlashbackAlternatives.com. Both are great places to hear old favorites as well as stuff I haven't heard before.

    Mea culpa.
    When I wrote "iPod" I really meant any portable digital music player. I guess it's kind of like saying band aid. Band Aid is a brand name of an adhesive bandage, but most just say "band aid".

    The only time I listen to the radio is going to work in the morning.

    That is often the case.
    We have a wonderful college station here in NYC (WFUV) which was in danger of shutting down until they got a major grant from Lou Reed.
