First off, you cannot be serious in thinking that "Avenged Sevenfold" are one of the "ten greatest rock bands"...Especially when you leave out The Rolling Stones...

That's a tough one. Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Genesis, the Electric Light Orchestra, Four Non Blondes, Queen, Guns & Roses, KISS, and more. There are many! Much of the music out today sucks.
I saw them in concert and Avenged Sevenfold is definitely my favorite band. Although the other bands aren't exactly my generation, so I don't know much about them -- I'm just going to pick what I know. I agree, M. Shadows is hot... but I love the band alot. They have great songs, every member has a great personality and they love what they do. Definitely A7X for the win.
The 4 lads from Liverpool clicked on all cylinders.They had the musical writing ability,the harmonies.They had it all! Yes,their music will live on.Their music still has an effect on our lives today.
