"the world I know" The story I have is rather unusual..I have loved Collective soul for many years and often crave the music...Anyhow a few years ago I was trying to deliver a load of steel rolls amounting to over 30,000 pounds( I am a truck driver) Earlier in the trip I had a minor incident which cause the steel to shift to one side of the trailer causing it to lean heavily to one side. I had tried to have it fixed but it was too heavy for a standard forklift to move. It was a small company I was working for at the time and we didn't have the resources to fix it..Between me and my delivery stood the Sierra Nevada mountains..We truck drivers are obligated to deliver. Fearing for my very life and feeling as prone as I have ever been I started the climb..when I turned in the direction of the lean the trailer would tilt dangerously far out. My nerves were shattered and my mortality was as close as it had ever been. when I couldn't take the stress anymore "The world I know" popped into my mind and I scrambled to find the disc..I fired up the song with tears in my eyes and an intense feeling running through me. I sang along and considered what my death might mean and what my life was worth..After the track, I caught my breath and with a renewed sense of determination I carried on. I wanted to live to see another day and knew that my love for Collective Soul would last forever. Thank you for the feelings you have given me over the years. The World I Know

You had me at, Shine, but December has a special memory for me. My grandmother never learned to drive and so she would call on her grandchildren (I'm the oldest) to drive her places. Once when I picked her up, I had December playing and she started singing do, do, do, do along with the music. It made me smile. She was an awesome woman and she was one person who taught me to love and appreciate music and baseball. I love you Grandma Mary. God Bless You!Precious Declaration
