Because of the bands listed, this is the best band who comes from the same genre and could be understandably called an 'influence.' Not to say that the guys don't listen to the other bands, but this is my favorite which could convincingly list as an influence.

I vote foo fighters because there amazing and they make serious and funny music videos. they love to laugh at them selves and i love it. oh and cuz there my third fave band (ARTICLE A is #1 of course!)

I love the police because I think they have really good music and sometimes I just jump when I hear their songs. But I also love all these bands, its hard to choose one because so many have influenced me with thier music which has encouraged me to write my own music, and hopefully one day I will be heard. But if I had to choose it would be the police, even though its so hard to choose between these great bands.

i've been into rock for about... hmmmm... 4 years.. no one i really knew listened to anything but R&B, hip hop and that junk.. the mix between funk and rock was great!!! Slipknot is the one that has the most that isn't on the list!!

At the top is DMB but that is not because of a lack of trying. I just have spent more hours listening to DMB than the rest, but what a great collection of influences. Combined they all represent years of my life, listening.

I loved the police when I was 16. I still listen to them on my IPOD. I also was into U2. The red hot chili peppers was one of my favorit bands in my early twentys. I went to 7 concerts lots of good times.
