For the second week in a row, White House advisers were trash-talking Fox News on the Sunday news shows yesterday. Fox is “not really a news station,” said David Axelrod. Rahm Emmanuel said Fox “ is not a news organization so much as it has a perspective.” A week ago, communications director Anita Dunn opened the White House offensive on Fox on a Sunday show, saying “Let’s not pretend they’re a news organization like CNN is.”

to say the least each are biased, each slam and each praise. the thing is to actually get past that BS and ACTUALLY LISTEN TO THE QUESTIONS IN AN INTERVIEW. it's not hard people. I will watch news to find out whats going on with our troops of course, then when I see someone being interviewed I like to listen to see if some questions I have will be asked and answered. I don't care what news has to "honestly" say about something I have my own opinion, and I will look that crap up myself if I need to I only need to know the logistics. And if your really watching the new for an election then your all dumb they all put money towards a campaign so of course the news from that point on will be biased can people really be so ignorant? So if you have to get your opinions from someone else then you obviously have no problem letting people tell you what to do... in which case you should leave politics to real people with real opinion and actually search for factual truth

It seems like whoever is in power dictates which network sucks the most. When Bush was in the White House I would've said CNN was worse because there was more of a negative feel to their reporting, and alot more complaining than there is now vs. Fox who had shows (specifically Hannity and Colmes) that had both liberal and conservative points of view that were addressed, and they didn't really complain because what did they have to complain about? Their man was in the White House. Not to say Fox was unbiased because they have always been very clearly conservative. Its just that they didn't have the negative spin that CNN did.

Now that Obama is in office the previous statement has completely reversed. I may be mistaken (admittedly i dont watch much news for the sole reason that there is no true unbiased network), but Fox news no longer has a left-wing associate on any of their programs, they are now the ones with the negative spin on just about everything they report and they employ some of the most dramatic far-right clowns (Glenn Beck for example). I used to like Fox News, but with the way they report now i cant take them seriously.

So as of right now i can't stand Fox news which of course makes CNN better in my eyes by defualt, but they both suck equally because they are both l...

So as of right now i can't stand Fox news which of course makes CNN better in my eyes by defualt, but they both suck equally because they are both like small children. Fine when things are going their way, but whiny and ridiculous when its not. edit: granted, I have personally never seen CNN get even close to the same level of ridiculousness and idiocy that Glenn Beck and O'Reilly have achieved for Fox News. Kudos to you guys.

...But Faux News is far worse, by more than a mile. One of my Wisconsinite buddies mentioned that Faux recently aired a report with video of alleged "union violence" that showed palm trees in the background. As said buddy pointed out, Wisconsin DOESN'T HAVE PALM TREES, and if it did, they certainly wouldn't be thriving there in the middle of winter. It turns out that the video was of an incident in California, but of course, Faux News didn't want its viewers to know that.

I don't get to watch either of them. Would I watch? I can like to hear provocative or radical views and want to hear them sometimes but I don't think there is a network that offers the most sides and gives just the straight news too.

I'd like to clarify my vote. I don't really mean they stink equally, I feel they're both equally partisan. If you want balance, listen to both sides and make up your own mind.
