Answered No, Obama's supporters talk about McCain just as bad
this is like saying Democrats are immune from racism.
I don't think this is fair.
So what you're implying is that because someone is republican they are racist and if you're a Democrat you cannot be.But let's look at the abortion issue.
The MAJORITY of abortion mills are in minority neighborhoods. This is genocide.
Read my blog about Martin Luther King's niece and why she is pro life.Read about Margret Sanger and her views on eugenics and how she intended to wipe out the African American race etc.
Minorities are targeted for abortions. If anything i want to save the life of every baby that is African American.
Don't know about Margaret Sanger. It's quite the eye opener.I'll post a blog on her.Hitler adopted her ideas and applied them to the Jews! -

Yep. Desperate and downright evil! If they can't win the election, they are just as happy to divide the freakin' country. They would rather take the whole nation down if they aren't elected. Pisses me off! McCain has lost all respect, dignity, and honor. He should be ashamed. -
raves Oct 18, 2008 01:32AM GMT (edited)now i'm evil.Whose dividing the country?
that's nonsense.I've had nothing but hate speech for being conservative for years.
I don't care if Obama wins anymore. He's already rented the Waldorf and ordered the champagne and caviar by the way.(I'm not making this up)Evidently he knows something i don't.But frankly i don't care if he does win.
You're voting for a man you probably never heard of until now that you barely know.A man with no record to speak of.
I GUARANTEE his first month in office Iran attacks Isreal and when that happens remember i said this.At that point..WWIII breaks out.End of story.
So vote for him.Let him party at the Waldorf and eat his caviar and drink his champagne.
i'm not desperate for anything. i will get up the next day and drink my coffee, eat my toast and get on.When he destroys this country remember i said all this.
Even in scripture God gave His ppl when they went off track exactly the kind of leader they asked for just to open their eyes.
You'll see.
All the news media spent more time smearing Joe the Plumber and he's not running for President than they spent time vetting Obama. They didn't camp around Wm Ayers home.Or the Acorn offices. Or Rev Wright.No..they go after a guy on the street named Joe who just happened to ask a question.
Now he's being smeared in the news.Just a guy.
You gotta be kidding me.They investigated this guy closer than they did Obama. -
raves +1 Oct 18, 2008 01:58AM GMTLet me clarify; I'm not calling ALL Republicans evil. My brother is a Republican, and even he is having a hard time with the way McCain has run this campaign and allowed this hate to fester. I read your post and the one prior. Nowhere in either did you address the issue at hand; the ugly things that came out of the mouths of the people in the video. In my opinion, if you do not condemn it, you quietly condone it. When the poll about Sarah Palin committing suicide was posted, I condemned and downraved my fingers off! Turns out the individual who posted it wanted to see how people on both sides would react; to see if we would step up and condemn him.
You have spoken about scripture in your post. Do you think God would approve of the the hate being spewed by the people in the video and at McCain/Palin rallies across the country? I don't. Where is your scripture about "love thy neighbor?"
Oh, and trust me, I WILL vote for him. I am eagerly awaiting the opportunity. I am heading up a carpool from the college I attend to drive others to the polls. I can't freakin' wait! And if, by chance, you find that Obama actually brings this nation together and you and yours benefit from the changes he will bring, I promise not to say, "I told ya so." -

People can be ignorant! There's no two ways about it. It's sad that they can't look past the skin color to see who the better prepared candidate for President is.
The hopeful news is:
Ohio, Survey USA 10/12-13: Obama 50%, McCain 45%.

Ohio, Rasmussen Reports for FOX News 10/12: Obama 49%, McCain 47%.

the Republican MO has been to find an emotional issue and create division. Whether the topic is gay marriage, abortion, race there is always the undercurrent of fear they want to instill. People are easily led along when they are afraid. -
raves Oct 18, 2008 02:07AM GMTyou're clueless.
My son is a Navy CPO and diver with the Navy Seals. When he joined the Navy he came home with his best friend. The man was black.
I raised my son to take the words of Martin Luther King Jr very seriously.
Those words;
To judge a man by the content of his character, not the color of his skin.
And the reason I'm not voting Obama is because i judged the content of his character.
(I voted for a black Gov who unfortunately did not win..but still).
He was a good man and deserved to win.
I lived in a time when the country was not divided over abortion or gay marriage.
It was a time when the airwaves were decent, when kids were respectful and we went to school without having to worry about guns.
Yes,racism was prevalent then and i would say racism still exists now but has nothing to do with party. It's not passed on by party. It's passed on by PARENTS.What you learn in the home is what makes the most impression on you.
I wouldn't care if Obama were snow white.I wouldn't vote for him.If McCain were black i would still definitely vote for him. It's not a matter of race. However, I will say this.
There are Democrats that are racist. There are Democrats who are greedy. There are Democrats that are corrupt. You can find enough of this crap in both parties. It's not a party thing.It's...you're clueless.

You can find good and bad in both parties. You can find good and bad in any race;but the bottom line is we're all children of God.
I will always believe that and i think i instilled respect for ppl in my son.
Seems like i did.
I will always be conservative and i make no apologies to anyone for it.
I will always be Catholic and make no apologies for it.
I will never tolerate racism and make no apologies for it.
This is bias to say that Republicans are racist as if Democrats are immune.(less) -
raves +1 Oct 18, 2008 03:26PM GMTActually, I'm not clueless, but I disagree very much with your assessment of Obama's character. On the other hand McCain has sold his soul and sold out his beliefs for a chance to be President. I have a feeling you are a one issue voter, and that one issue is abortion. If not tell me what it is about Obama's character that you think is so bad.
