Yes.
Some do not... but, many of them do. If you "knew" all of the secrets of the universe, wouldn't you think other people were idiots?

Yes.
well yeah. christians are really stupid. at least most of the ones i know. they follow that religion that teaches them stuff that never happened. and all this about you have to ask for forgiveness from a dead guy they claimed to write the bible but didn't. and then heaven= good, hell=bad. because they have proof of these places. when in reality, science overrules all of this completely.! and they think they are the good ones because they are brainwashed into thinking 'good people' are the ones that pray to god that doesn't really help anybody. if this so called 'god' existed. why is there all this chaos??Other.
Some do. Some definitely do. In fact, every Christian I've encountered in my family or in the rest of the world that know I don't believe in God always act smugly towards me and say I'll be sorry when I die and see God. Then I try explaining my view point, not always tactfully, I do get annoyed, but it almost always ends with them saying, "That's fine, 'cause I know I'm right, and you'll be sorry."I'm not going to lump all Christians in with the ones I know, so I say it's just the basis of the person. Some people just want to feel superior to others in some way, and if they happen to be Christian and think they know the grandest secret of the universe when you don't, they'll sure as hell feel supreme.
Yes.
yesThe cool thing is, by their rules, probably everyone will be sorry when they die.
Oh, and hey, I've got a secret for you...just let me know when your'e ready for this reality blowing knowledge that sets me apart from you and then we can be on this awesome secret team and have all this exciting fun being in our little special club of fun forever and ever and ever.
No.
Some Christians labele atheists as stupid, devil-worshippers, or morons. Though there may be some atheists who fit these categories (as would many in the general population), atheists are not categorically stupid, devil-worshipping, degenerates with no morals. Many of them are fine citizens, honest, caring, loving, and patient. For a Christian, or anyone for that matter, to make a blanket statement about atheists in a derogatory manner is wrong. It is the same thing atheists sometimes do when they accuse Christians of being irrational, psychotic, or holyer than thou know it alls. Such accusations have no place on either side of the argument of truth.
Generally speaking, atheists are not stupid. Many of them have thought through their position over a long period of time and arrive at conclusions after much thought. Some were raised in religious homes, have seen what religion has to offer, and have rejected it. Of course, I think that atheists have drawn incorrect conclusions about God, but it doesn't mean they are dumb. Some atheists have presented very cogent arguments against the existence of God, which need to be addressed.
So, just because someone believes in God and encounters someone who doesn't, that does not mean that either side is stupid. Labeling and name-calling have no place in the discussion.
No.
Speaking for myself only. I KNOW I am no better than the next person.Other.

I'm going to answer this for you Korinthian, but I'm going to qualify it. First let me say, that in essence, No - Christians are not superior to anyone else. God has no favorites. Or maybe it would be better to say, we're all his favorites. He doesn't relish the idea of losing any of us. Here would be a good place for me to apologize for coming off sounding superior. Sorry, that's not my intention. However, you may have encountered those of us who view our faith as our most treasured possession and even seek to share it with others. Why would we want to share it if we weren't sure it was something better. We are not superior, but we're plugged into something that's out of this world!
God created hell.
God created the rules for going to hell
God seemingly dislike the people that he allows being born only to go to hell.
Do you have any children? The reason I ask is because that's as close as I can get to understanding how God feels about hell. He wants people there about as much as we want one of our children executed. Yes it's that horrifying to him too. That's why he made a way out.
But the original question wasn't about God's feelings, it's about Christian's feelings. Just about the time I think I get the forgiveness thing figured out, and grasp God's kind of love for everybody, I blow it. I saw a movie last week where a black man in the south was lynched by a white mob. Instantly, I was ready to consign the mob to - well - you know where. Thank God it's not about my or any other Christian's emotions. And thank God he made a way that I won't get what I deserve.
Do you have children? Would you punish them with torture if they did something wrong? That doesn't even make sense.
The thing about children is the only way I can relate to how much God hates the idea of any of us ending up in hell. (which I believe doesn't even exist until the future) Maybe you can't understand that. Maybe you don't want to. At any rate, I'm keeping the rest of my pearls for someone who enjoys a lively sharing of ideas.
Live well
Yes.
some don't, but some do and I have always thought it was very un-Christian like personally. But that's just me.
Other.
It certainly seems some of them do. During high school, my sons played football and were discriminated against because they were not Christian. The coach told them and the entire team that only Christians make good football players and students. This was at a PUBLIC school! On the flip side, some of their Christian friends supported them and walked out on the coach when he said that.It doesn't happen often enough.
I have a lot of pride and hope in the next generation. I think they will be the so-called "transition figures" for our future.
Other.
I simply believe that anyone who accepts the true principles of their religion and feels it spiritually does not make judgments about anyone.Yes.
i'm not really sure. but, most christians probably think that they are better than other people that are not christians. although, they may not show it, but most christians probably think that they are a little better than everybody else, because they know about god, and accepted him in their lives. so therefore, i think that christians somewhat judge non-christians, just because of what they believe.Add&&Rave.; (:
Other.
Anyone who actually believes that their faith makes them superior has lost sight of what that faith should mean.(Illustration).
I've said as much before.
No.
Indeed the curse of the church is the immature Christian. We Christians are all so very imperfect just as everyone else, if we could all just acknowledge that at least we'd have humility.Other.
Some do, some don't.No.
