Cameron Interviews Post-Debate Palin
by Shushannah Walshe
ST. LOUIS –- Fox News’ Carl Cameron conducted the first post-debate interview with Sarah Palin this morning. The extensive interview went over last night’s Vice-Presidential face off, her debate prep, campaign strategy, media access and the hits she has been getting for not having more access to the media, and of course the much talked about and criticized interview she did with CBS’s Katie Couric.

Palin told Carl that she was “annoyed” at some of the interviews she has done, “Ok I’ll tell you honestly the Sarah Palin in those interviews is a little bit annoyed because it’s man no matter what you say you are going to get clobbered. If you choose to answer a question you are going to get clobbered on the answer,” Palin said. “If you choose to try and pivot and go on to another subject that you believe that Americans want to hear about you get clobbered for that too.”

She then aimed to defend herself for some of the criticism she got for the Couric interview. She was blasted for not answering Couric’s question on any of the periodicals she reads or even a Supreme Court decision that she disagreed with. She defended some of the circular answers she gave the CBS anchor saying that she did not get to cover some of the topics she saw as important, “But in those Katie Couric interviews I did feel that there were a lot of things that she was missing in terms of an opportunity to ask what a V.P. candidate stands for. What the values are represented in our ticket. I wanted to talk about Barack Obama increasing taxes, which would lead to killing jobs. I wanted to talk about his proposal to increase government spending by another trillion dollars.”

She then slammed Barack Obama calling him disqualified to be President of the United States, “Some of his comments that he has made about the war that I think may — in my world– disqualifies someone from consideration as the next commander in chief.” Palin said, “Some of his comments about Afghanistan and what we are doing there supposedly– just air raiding villages and killing civilians. That’s reckless. So I wanted to talk about things like that. So I guess I have to apologize about being a little annoyed, but that is also an indication of being outside that Washington elite and being outside the media elite also and just wanting to talk and just wanting to talk to Americans without the filter and let them know what we stand for.”

The Democrat Party has always done things that way ever since there was a Democrat Party. Look at the history how they lie, intimidate, beat their opponents with canes, etc. The Democrats are the collection of all the racist, greedy, unethical, amoral clods of our society. They hate everyone who opposes them and exposes them. Well, that's only normal, I guess. Nobody likes to be exposed for doing wrong. When you do wrong it's normal to try to lie your way out of it. I love what Bill O'Reilly did to Barney Frank. Bill said everything I'd love to say to slime balls like B.F. It's high time Americans spoke up and started cleaning house in Washington, D.C..

Sarah should do what she does best, be in front of the Amercian people talking about what she and John McCain will do in the White House. She needs to avoid being ambushed by any interviewer from the mainstream media or their offspring cable news networks who only know how to offer "Gotcha" questions.

I think it comes off as a lack of respect like The Dark Lord Cheney shows. If you don't like the question just don't answer it, or change the subject, and then act like the problem is the person asking the question. What magazines and newspapers you get your news from is a reflection of where your thinking is. Do you read The Washington Times or The Washington Post? One is Right, one is Left. Or do you read both? Or do you perhaps not really read anything except your little hometown paper with the hockey scores in it?

Do we REALLY want someone exactly like us? Do we? Really? I personally want someone who is a whole lot smarter than me and more up on subjects like the economy, nuclear (not nucular, at least know how to pronounce it, we've had one such idiot in the White House) defense, diplomacy, the environment, energy, etc. than I am. My knowledge is enough to discuss one or two of them well, and the rest of them superficially with someone exactly like me but certainly wouldn't qualify me to discuss the subjects with people on a national or international level. And I think her winking would go over in that market about like Bush's back rubs. Winking at Putin would be okay if her job was to "entertain" him for the evening, but has no place in a Vice President's professiona...

I keep thinking what people would say about Hillary if she pulled off such things instead of having actual knowledge about matters. She got raked across the coals for laughing, what if SHE would have winked during her debates? I just can't get it out of my head that Palin is an affront to knowledgeable women who have worked hard to know, really KNOW the subjects before getting into politics - really, to knowledgeable women AND men who have worked hard to know the subjects first. For a woman or man in ANY field to wink while carrying out business would be considered unprofessional. Why is it suddenly okay for a Vice Presidential candidate?

Apparently the Republican Party has decided this country wants cute instead of substance. We'll see how right they are. We get the government we deserve. If we want better we have to demand it.

The democratic press core the mainstream media is so bais, just how bais are they? Well some of the reporters have stated they get all tinglely in their legs as Obama opens his mouth.

She has a right to annoyed at the Obama worshippers, they are ridicules and should not call themselves news reporters but rather public relations reporters for Obama.
