Answered None of the above

I will still vote fr McCain/Palin. I understand why he voted for it, that doesn't mean I am happy about it. A vote for Obama would mean so many "bailouts" that this one would pale in comparison.

I thought the Senate version tallied out at $851 billion. If the House voted on virtually a word-for-word copy of that, howcum everybody is saying it's [ only ] $700B? As it is, it's another reeking porkfest of earmarks and add-ons, mostly paid to the very same jerkwads who caused this problem to begin with.

These corrupt and incompetent politicians have lost their way...their interference in the market caused this problem and now the use taxpayer dollars to bailout their friends...too bad Americans are stupid and believe it is Wall Street's fault when it was government intervention and market manipulation especially the Dems in their housng agenda that caused this...

This bailout will do nothing to help the economy. We will fall into deep recession and it will last longer because of the bailout. I am now going to vote strictly against the incumbent. Both parties have screwed this country up and the sooner we the people realize this the better off we will be. recession bailout vote strictly incumbant parties screwed country people realize
  • raves     [-] by infinityorzero

Answered Im not mad, this was the best thing for our economy

I don't know enough about exactly what is needed for the economy, or about all the crap that rode along with the bill to get upset. I know something needed to be done. I hope what they passed will help.

MAY be best for the economy - hard to know anymore, just do not want the stock market to crash any further. Have more questions than answers

Yes I am. This government funded bailout is unAmerican. When does it end? Where does one draw the line? We heading to crapville.
  • raves +1   [-] Beer30 replied to chainsaw
Chainsaw, the 'Crapville Express' is boarding right now. Obama's loading homeless winos, flophouse vagrants, halfway houses and squeegie guys onto buses to get them registered to vote in a BUNCH of states where the Dems have made 'Registration' an utter joke.
    Allllll Aboarrrrrrd!!!!!!!
  • raves     [-] JULIE replied to Beer30
dont worry, For every bum Obama lines up, McCain will block 2 dems from voting

We will have a list of foreclosed homes and will make sure people aren’t voting from those addresses,” party chairman James Carabelli told Michigan Messenger in a telephone interview earlier this week. He said the local party wanted to make sure that proper electoral procedures were followed.

State election rules allow parties to assign “election challengers” to polls to monitor the election. In addition to observing the poll workers, these volunteers can challenge the eligibility of any voter provided they “have a good reason to believe” that the person is not eligible to vote. One allowable reason is that the person is not a “true resident of the city or township.”

The Michigan Republicans’ planned use of foreclosure lists is apparently an attempt to challenge ineligible voters as not being “true residents.”

It's nice to see that someone is on top of the voter fraud issue. btw, what do the rules say?

  • raves +1   [-] Xenon23 ^Robot For The Masses^ replied to SparkleyFlowers (NSFW)
McCain...but I do kind of want to vote for Bob Barr.

Texas will go to McCain but if that changes and it looked bad in Texas I would have to Vote McCain. I will vote early since I may not be in town on election day.

Every politician that voted for it show give their salaries and 50% of their net worthy towards it.
  • raves +1   [-] Kebby replied to Headhunter 13
I think the CEOs of these companies should have to give half salery until its paid back to the American people. They are the ones who benifit from this. Uncle Sam doesn't come in and bailout the average citizen.
  • raves +1   [-] Headhunter 13 replied to Kebby
That is good as well but the polticians that gave our money away should also pay
  • raves +1   [-] Kebby replied to Headhunter 13
Ha and fat chance ~ they have made their share from this on both ends when the market was boosted during the de-regulation and they will all make a ton of money after all is said and done. I think that if they are going to give away 700 billion $$ they should give it to the average citizen and let big business fall flat on its face.
What would happen if they wiped out all debt for every US citizen and US based business have us all start again with a clean slate.
