My question is, what the hell is body dysmorphic disorder? I had never heard of this until recently. I'm guessing that it's just something to enable people with eating disorders to say it's not their fault that they have low self esteem or self control.None of the above

I think that's how Hollywood truly is. I remember when I was a kid and we all thought Ethel Mertz was the "fat one." Now I see the old I Love Lucy shows and think Ethel wasn't fat! Lucy was tall and thin and Ethel was just larger than her. Why did we think she was FAT? Eating disorders and drug use being the result of these skewed perceptions. Why can't we just put "real" people in movies and be satisfied with their acting skills?
