Cindy McCain Lashes Out at The View: Do you think Cindy McCain has a right to be mad?
John McCain's wife Cindy McCain blasted "The View" on Saturday for attacking her and her husband in an interview last Friday and for not representing Americans' views and beliefs. "In spite of what you see ... in the newspapers, and on shows like 'The View' — I don't know if any of you saw 'The View' yesterday, they picked our bones clean — in spite of what you see, that's not what the American people are saying and what they are believing," Cindy said at Saturday's 119th annual Oakland County Republican Party's Lincoln Day Dinner, ABC News reports. You don't have many valid choices in in your survey, but I would say that they should have known they were going into hostile territory and there was no way they could ever get a fair shake. Too bad Obama doesn't have the guts to appear with people that will treat him as unfairly as this. I wish that knothead Oriely would have been more hard core in his interview with Obama. -

No, "Manicains" don't deserve our pity. The question should be: "Why are Republicans so defensive about everything?" Republicans come off as angry bullies every election with nothing of any substance to say. I really don't understand why they are angry at the Democrats for the fact: Bush is an IDIOT and McCain wasn't their first choice. Worse yet, he picked Palin, who is the biggest MORON in this whole thing. This whole election is a farse. Their are no REAL choices....as usual. McCain doens't have a clue and only cares about dumping another 100 trillion dollars into Iraq. And Obama is so clueless, he going to spend his entire term promising one thing and then changing his mind when he discovers he really didn't understand what was going on in the first place. I vote for a "DO-OVER!" -

The words of a famous Missourian named Harry Truman apply here. "If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen." They knew they were going to be asked questions when they went on the show. They are so afraid that Sarah Palin will make a mistake they won't let her out alone. Then complain that she is being picked on if someone should dare to ask a question or make a remark about her. Sounds like a bunch of whiners to me. The American public needs and has a right to know about the people running for the highest office in the country. If they can't take it, then stay home in one of their many houses. -

They're stupid, rabid c**ts who should have been taken off the air years ago. Every time I see them I feel ashamed of having a vagina. They're brainless and worthless as human beings, and really, their opinions should never count. -

Yes,I seen the show, and it's true, because there are Qty.5 women and Qty. 4 are leaning left in their views.McCain did pretty good while only the Blonde headed lady that usually sets next to Barbara W. is in favor of McCain and she usuallly can't get a word in edge wise with the rest of them, but she's a fighter and it usually ends in a good mouthing discussion. It really isn't the show for me because it is Mostly a Liberal Biased and they did go off on McCain! So they already had Micheal Obama and now they are going to have OBama again! So that is why I watch another network now! -

I saw that show, and I thought they came off very well. Sure, they asked a couple tough questions, most notably confronting McCain on his distortion of Obama's proposed "stranger danger" type of "sex ed" for young children, which McCain defiantly defended. And when McCain said he wanted to choose Supreme Court Justices who would adhere faithfully to the Constitution as it was originally worded, Whoopie brought up the humorous concern about her continuing status in society today. Because the original text clearly states that African slaves and their descendants were property, and didn't have any rights, and were to be returned to their original owners if they had escaped. Any promise to strictly adhere to the original wording is bunk, because over the course of over 230 years, our phrases and meanings tend to deviate a bit over time. All the judges can do is to interpret the case before them in terms of what the meaning of the law might have been so many years ago. Overall, I thought the McCains came off very well, so if Cindy felt her bones were being picked clean, she must have extremely delicate, thin skin. That was NOTHING. -

raves +2 Sep 18, 2008 04:46AM GMTWhy would'nt she be? She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. She is a rich white woman, never suffered, racism, poverty or any worries paying bills and getting a job and making an honest living.
Its people like you who make the super rich, richer with your worship of rich powerful personalities. Do you people hope some of it might rub off on you of you idol worship her?
They don't care about you or me, they only care about their name going down in history as the President and first lady, thats it.
This is the ultimate trophy for these rich people. -
