Palin has no business running for Vice President. She lacks the experience or the intelligence for the job. She's a narrow-minded fanatic who should stay up in Alaska with her kind. Also, If she's such a big Christian then why isn't she staying home and taking care of her children? She'll breed them, but is happy to let someone else bother with them while she tropms all over the country. -

Shrewd pick. I worked for Hillary on the ground in 4 states and called two others. I've been voting mostly Democrat since 1998 - never miss a primary or general. But this year I'm going to pick McCain/Palin for the top of the ticket. It's not about race, I just have no faith in this guy - He has almost no track record. Most of his experience is representing 40 blocks in hyde park, a tiny park of Chicago. Even Palin has more substantial experience and she's running for VP. He avoids most controversial votes, says his answers on position questionnaires are "accidents" and he doesn't seem to care to do anything unless there is a camera nearby. We don't need another 4 years of drive-by, give a speech, then play golf governance. Obama is more of the same. McCain is a real fighter, who has nothing to prove at this point - He's only running for 1 term, to help make our country strong again. I don't agree with everything he says, but I can trust him because he has integrity. I can't say that for Obama. -

Hillary Clinton is Two Face. She cares nothing about anyone but her self. Yes, I voted for her before I found out the real Hillary. She is not for Obama, she is only talking for him for money to get her little self out of the hole. I'm going to vote REP because it is better for our country. McCain WILL NOT be another GW Bush. Obama will be another Jimmy Carter but only worst.
LOL, Wakeup America or it will be DOOMSDAY for US starting
next year!!!

I dont think we're angry. We're just very scared for the future of our country if Mccain and Palin win in november. I firmly believe that she was picked to get votes only and it was a very smart pick for that and that alone, she has no "executive experience" you can keep telling yourself she does but its not true, if she was governor of NY or CA or even TX i might buy it, but being gov of a state with less population then Denver, CO doesnt give you "executive experience". -

Answered Democrats are upset that Republicans hit a home run with this VP choice
I'm sure the Dems were reeling over McCain's VP pick. He got one over on them and they look like fools. Obama should of picked Hillary then McCain's choice would of been moot. -

I think you may be on to something. On top of that, liberal feminist (redundant?) find themselves in an awkward position of defending her against the same sexist crap that has been slung at Hilary. They may not like it, but they have to stand up against mysogony wherever and whenever it rears it's head. -

You see... unfortunately this election has been about "making history", and everyone knows it, and dosnt want to say it, because they will be called a racist.
People are not voting for Obama because of the issues, they are voting for him because they want to be apart of the "history making generation" by voting for the first black president. No im not a racist, i have no hard feelings against blacks, its just so clear and is the truth.
Im voting for McCain because of the issues, not because i want to make history (although, now I will, because of the VP pick). If it was another black besides Obama, that had a better standing on the issues, i would vote for him, and dump McCain, but this is not the case. Obama is all about ego, arrogance, and popularity. Where as McCain is all about the issues, and fixing Washington.

Obama supporters say they wouldn't support Obama if he had Hillary on the ticket because she wouldn't represent change, but Biden does? The third most liberal and conforming old time senator represents change? His pick was pathetic and sealed his fate. -

Okay, I'm angry; but not for the reasons you think. When Obama got the nod I swore I'd never vote for him & now I'm faced with the possibilty that a VP with less experience than Obama may sit in the oval office if for some reason McCain can't serve his term & HE IS OLD. So, I'm back to the drawing board this late in the game trying to figure out who the best candidate is for me.

I think McCain just stuck it in obamas eye with this pick. Hillary was dissed by the dems and McCain showed the respect woman deserve these days. What a slap in the face to Hillary. I hope every Hillary fan comes over to McCain.
