Answered John McCain
I think I will hold my nose and vote for what I perceive to be the lesser of the two evils. It is a good thing that in November the option for "None Of The Above" will not be available. Then again if it were, we just may have the best president since Reagan.
Vote Noneoftheabove 2008. -

Answered Barrack Obama
He offers the best chance to get us out of the mess that the last 8 years have put us in. I think he'll abide by the Constitution instead of trampling it and move toward getting healthcare for all Americans. I believe that McCain will just be more years of the same crap that we have now. -

Thats easy, im not up for another run of 4 years of rising health care, inflation, bogus wars, botch natural disasters, high unemployment, descrimination of gays, ect. ect ect........If he had different ideas and didn't tow the party line chosing bad policies then maybe I would consider McCain -
raves Sep 01, 2008 07:07PM GMTI mean never letting a president run wild in the office---ie: not respecting the check powers of the legislative and judicial powers of the government---or better yet, respecting the will of the people and not the will of himself, his rich buddies, or corporate america.
When the people take control of the government and put their foot down on all of these corrupt politicians then balance can be restored between the corporate entities and the everyday Joe. -

But you are right, we can't elect them and go back to sleep, let the media manipulate us, and let the powers that be find their way back.
We need to stay awake, involved, and watch their every move. We can't ever come this close to losing our birthright again! -

That means that he will not push his agenda with the 50% + 1 that we've seen for the last 8 years. There is a great deal in his agenda for which he needs popular support, so he's not likely to waste "political capital" on lower priority proposals.

raves Sep 04, 2008 05:10AM GMTI feel the same way Urban. I like Obama very much and like the way he thinks and reasons through issues. I am sick of stupid simplistic Bush style monologues, replacing democratic discussion and process. I don't agree with Obama on all the issues, but I can't imagine that there would be such a candidate. I think he will be a great president.
