What's the weirdest thing that happened during a move?

We've all moved. Maybe across the country, maybe across the street. I'm moving this week. What are your weird moving stories?

I moved to the house across the street once, and another time I moved to a house where three generations(a father, son, and grandfather) had all commited suicide. :/

    Answered My story is...

    the police pulled me over , I was so tired --I swrived a bit and they thought I was drunk --when I took the breath test they said nope --I just smell tuna, all in the U haul van --I had just eaten a tuna sandwich

    After I moved I was in a totally different place. Before I moved I wasn't there then afterward there I was in a new place. It was weird.

    I moved out- while I was going back through the house, I went into my weird roomate's bedroom to see if any of my things were in there. Not only did I find obscene photos of her w/ some random guy, but I found a bunch of my clothes( including underwear). I could not get out of there fast enough!

    When I was 3 years old, my father won a raffle(one of many he won) at his company picnic. It was a 7 foot tall stuffed Mickey Mouse. I still have it after all these years. We moved, and had to transfer storage units too. Well, Mickey wasn't going to be shoved in the moving truck, so I put him in my car. Can you imagine the looks I got riding down the road in a 1969 Mustang with a giant Mickey Mouse seatbelted in the front seat?!?! imagine riding road 1969 mustang giant mickey mouse seatbelted seat

    Haha, no I didn't. There's only 1 interstate around here that has the HOV lane, and this wasn't the one!!! But don't think if it did have the HOV lane I wounldn't have used it!!!

    Yeah, I guess they frown upon that sort of thing. Plus I'm not sure where you're from, but it might look suspicious someone driving around with a passenger in a "Mickey Costume". But then, I live an hour from Disney, so I probably would get away with it... *grin*

    HAHA!! So it'd look normal down there?! I'm in VA, and the state cops are anal up here, but I still would've done it, just to do it!!

    The cops are anal down here too, but from what I've seen the Governor might rule MOST of Florida, but the very center of Florida is run by a very tall mouse. *grin*

    Well the new one is that little portable "P38 style" that I'm told is part of a military mess kit. It's small, but works. Ours now has a magnet glued to the back so it can live on the fridge instead of the utensils in case we ever use the same packing plan again. *grin*

    last move... (october 2006 / 300+ mile move)
    after unloading the truck/cars and finding a few things in the boxes we decided to go get some dinner.
    when we returned there was a note on the door from the local police department that said something about how my honey's father had called them since he couldn't get in touch w/ us and was concerned.
    the reason was because he didn't update HIS phone book w/ the new cell #'s (and who has a home phone anymore?) and had been leaving messages for someone else for a week. I kept the note from the police and now it's one of those stories we like to laugh at.
    parents worry no matter how old their baby is!!!

    Answered My story is...

    I was moving to Japan and when I got there, the people at Osaka that were suppose to meet me never showed up, but I ended up finding the other plane finally and made it to Fukuoka finally...talk about getting lost in a weird place....kinda late at night like in those Japanese horror flicks...lol. The next year was great though! Lol...

    Yeah, it was weird. The grandfather hung himself in the garage, the father shot himself in what was my mothers room, and the son overdosed in what was my cousins room. We all thought the place was haunted.
