LOL ! What year did you buy it ?
  • raves +1   [-] thir1t3en replied to Michael, Arrivederci e amore
1990 I think. It was a stick even and I had to teach myself how to drive it. It was crazy. Everytime I dumped the clutch it would die and I would have to jump start it. Turns out the head was bad. Drove it for 2months then had to get rid of it.

Yeah, I didn't think a paycheck from McDonald's could but any car in 1979.
Sorry you had such lousy luck with it .

My first car was a 95 Subaru Impreza. It was Maroon with light gold detailing, but don't let that fool you. it was indeed, a piece of crap but it was also my first love. I named it Georgiana and put a rhinestone butterfly next to the fuel gauge lol. the gear shift was so finicky that I used to have to slam it with the back of my palm to get the car to shift into park.

somehow I don't think it would matter how crappy that car was, I will always love it more than any other car I have ever had or will ever have because that car was the first taste of independence I ever got.

Yep, I completely agree with you. How can you not love your first real vehicle of independence. Now matter who or what it is :)
  • raves +1   [-] cyberdiva113 replied to Michael, Arrivederci e amore
oh yeah, no matter how crappy that car was... it will always be my favorite. Thanks for the comment I'm glad you feel the same.

Looked like this. . . .only it had a light tan -- almost pink-looking body. A 1960 Rambler.
