It really stinks that that was his lame answer to anyone let alone a child! Was that supposed to be Hope or Change? I would think if he wanted to give hope and show change he would have told her that he loves his country and wants to help it become stronger and greater. -

George W bush is the reason why. He took my country away from me and ruined what we used to have. My wife and I had intended to take a trip to Europe but we are going to wait until Mr Bush is FINALLY out of office. If Obama gets elected, and he probably will be, I think he will be able to start restoring us to what we were (and should be). -

We have a man running for president who seems to RUN down America every freaking chance he gets.

And the US is not nearly what it used to be in the 70s and 80s. In fact, we are like a Western Rome before the fall. Se these are answers i don't like! This is how American's now have to make their choices, at the extrem! What if i do agree, and at the same time, which i do, still love this country and glad i was born here? Where is that answer? People are now WAY to the right, blinded to where they need improvement. The rest of the people are WAY to the left, agian blinded to where they need improvement. and SHIT! if either would sit down and talk to the other, sorry, LISTEN to another. Then America can once again be the undisputed champion of the world. I like Europe, i think they are good people. But they are at their best now we are at our worse and they smile thinking they "might" be better than us. America we got to step aside our differences and listen to one another!
Back in the Greek days, they finally came to a point where they reliezed they didn't know everything, well they knew nothing and they noticed that. They saw their "verbal discussions", agruments, were not to find the facts, but to prove that "I" was right. They care shit about the truth. They noticed it and took a step back to correct that. Thats what i believe America needs to do. -

America sucks because we have a bunch of whiney little spoiled brats that scream and cry and rant and rave every time they think something isn't fair. They just don't understand that sometimes you need to give a kid good spanking to get their attention for a minute so you can deviate their thought process away from their self centeredness and explain why things don't seem fair. On the other hand; this country RULES!!! You sure can't get away with doing some of the crap that's done here in other countries, i.e. be a homo or a lesbo in some middle eastern countries, they kill people who dabble in sexual perversion such as it is.We have more freedoms and rights in this country than just about any other country in the world. Who would have thought that any one as incompatant as barack hussein osama, I'm sorry, obama, could have been considered as a presidential candidate knowing that he hangs out with known terrorists. I guess it's because he works well as a puppet for the liberal dems. -

I don't hate my country, but the U.S. is not what it once was, not as great as it once was, and is in decline. The Greatest Generation was apparently the pinnacle. We have desecrated their legacy, and I suspect it will never be recovered. -

America isn't what it once was.... That's a fact! BUT, it isn't because of the GOP! It is because the morality of this country is at an all time low. We are working so hard at being "politically correct" that we are destroying what America stands for. And who can we thank for the politically correct drive? You got it! The liberals. The media and the people who are willing to buy their every word. The Democratic party is no longer the Democratic party --Roosevelt, Truman and Kennedy would all three roll over in their graves to see what the Democrats stood for these days! And, before you jump down my throat, the same is true for the Republican party! Eisenhower and Reagan would too! This country's two-party system was never intended to be like a giant superbowl game -- with one party taking the title! It was meant to be two opposite mindsets, coming together to make sense and compromise on issues, to make the government work for all!
