raves +1 Aug 09, 2008 05:22PM GMTI have heard many different political and economically analyst - say that now is not the time for Obama- will the tax policies all that he wants or claims to want to do- after having the last 8 years with Bush and the war- Obama now in 08 would hurt this country. Obama maybe in 2012
or 2016 maybe but not now. -

No. Not really.
The only people I've blocked are people being abusive on my polls. I have no time for morons. But I've never blocked anyone based on politics everyone is free to have their opinion. I like quite a few Obama supporters on here, politics never gets in the way of friendship for me. -

raves +7 Aug 09, 2008 02:27AM GMTi have blocked 5 people to date (not counting sock puppets) who have NOT blocked me first...... my block list is about 40+ SH's long, 3 of them are McCain supporters, one is an obama supporter that USED to be sensible and devolved, 1 is an obama supporter with whom it's totally useless to try to get a straight answer from, and the rest are Obama supporters who blocked me first and have received a reciprocating perm block from me

I almost always select all and copy before i try to post when the debate gets heated, just because i already know what's coming LOL...(well with most of them i do, some of them will actually debate with you till you prove they're wrong before they block you) -

raves Aug 10, 2008 03:18PM GMTSome, but certainly not the majority. And it stands to reason that such would be the case. This is America. In spite of themselves many anti-Obama whites (and blacks) have (unwittingly?) picked up the plethora of racist and bigoted overtures that sail through the airwaves like rain swept mud in a watershed. Code has been prevalent throughout these election year campaigns and should be of no great surprise to any American given the now unprecedented and major historical implications of the Obama Campaign in light of America's as yet unresolved race relations.

raves +1 Aug 13, 2008 01:54AM GMTOnly if they reply in these posts with racist content!!! People can have their own opinions, but they are just nasty(for the most part). I have said it a million times.......I never see any posts about what great things McCain is doing. I only see them posting negative things about Obama or his wife. I guess the old saying is right:
IF YOU DON'T STAND FOR SOMETHING, YOU WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING.
